LIGHT: Black Cat & Amnesia Girl

I was really excited to play this game as it is so similar to little nightmares, and at the start it didnt dissappoint. It has a cool artstyle and good music, however the further into the game you get the more and more tedious the puzzles become. You have to go back and forth so much on almost all the puzzles and it was so annoying to play. The game is buggy as well, bad camera movement, weird holes and textures where it is possible to get stuck and jump out of the map. Adding some of these bugs happening while you are completing a puzzle and so you cannot procede because you cannot jump to where you are supposed to so you have to restart, then it just becomes frustrating. You need to have good patience and optimism when you play this game as that is the only way you will get through this. So if you are very patient then I will recommend it. It is creative and it's story and art so it was enjoyable to get through and i will go back and finish all achievements.

Out of over 300 titles in my collection this is easily one of the coolest games in the collection. Awesome atmosphere and story line. Great graphics, smooth seamless game play, excellent controller support, endearing characters, its just a wonderful title overall and I enjoy it immensely, I'm proud and excited to have it in my collection.

Honestly, it is a interesting idea but this feels like a looong escort quest. You have to wait for the girl to come flick switches, open doors, unlock doors, or pick things up. She can only carry 1 object at a time which can be frustrating. It just slow going. Lots of time just waiting for her to come over and do these tasks, climb up ladders.

Nice atmospherics. Puzzles not too hard. Optimisation is a bit lacking but get it in a sale and you’ll forget all about that. Works ok on steam deck too 🙂

Fun game, interesting puzzles, and good story
