In Lofi Haven, you start from one of four preset rooms or an empty apartment. To fill it, the game offers dozens of tables, wardrobes, shelves, stoves, carpets, plants, beds, ... all the way to speakers, workout tools, mugs, pans, and cutting boards. Many of the objects can have different textures applied to them or be painted in simple RGB ways, and being able to resize them with correct scaling or by skewing their X/Y/Z adds even more creative freedom. The limit here truly is your own imagination. Like many games these days, there's a complimentary cat included, but here, you can not only choose from 50+ cat presets but also customize the fur color as well as shape-morph your cat. You can even freehand-draw on the fur before you watch your highly customized feline prance about the place. The in-game audio player comes with more than 60 fitting lo-fi tracks to put you in the mood for real or virtual rainy days. Additionally, you can customize your own mix of white noise background sounds to combine with the music, or let that play instead of them. A pomodoro timer and simple to-do list round out the many features, but the most impressive certainly is the desktop wallpaper mode,…8 found this helpful

A cute yet derivative relaxing tool that I call a tool because it's more of a tool than a game. There is a pomodoro timer and a to-do list but no achievements so it's up to you what you do with it. It has a nice lofi soundtrack that I found relaxing, soothing ambient sounds, and a bit of a focus on the cat that walks around your room. There's not much to customize about your cat but I enjoyed watching it walk around the screen. It has a preset for most realistic cat coats but also a really neat neon fantasy design so you can see the cat better in the dark. There is also a decoration mode for the room where you can customize and place the furniture with a fair amount of options. My favorite feature is that with a click of a button, you can transform your room into a desktop wallpaper and it works seamlessly so this is a nice alternative if you're not a fan of how CPU-heavy Wallpaper Engine or something is and you enjoy being able to customize/decorate your scene. When it's in Wallpaper Mode it seems to be capped at 30 FPS but when you're in regular game mode it ran for me at a smooth 60 FPS. Great little game! The options and selection of products is pretty robust. It's even better that you can customize your own cat to chill in the room. I really liked the desktop mode which I don't think I've seen before but was super cool. Unlike other lofi pomodoro timer games, this one lets you design your room with no restrictions or waiting to unlock items. I spent around 2 hours making my room and can't wait to make more rooms of different styles. Even if you don't use the time management items, just designing a room is so worth the price! One caution for those who may stream the game - even on streamer mode, two songs got flagged in my VOD. The songs were Empty Minded and Voyage 257. Take those out of your rotations if you stream! Also you can pet the cat <31 found this helpful
▶️ Gameplay
https://www.twitch.tv/st_synna/clip/BeautifulBraveFlyOSfrog-0AOIukQHa3L3g_8l
👍 Pros
+ As a VTuber, it's great as a virtual background during streams (check out clip above to see what I mean) + Interesting concept for room design - suitable for bedroom, kitchen, living room etc + Virtual pet cat that you can customize and interact with (petting and pick up) + Customizable rooms - a lot of the items' colors can be changed too + Cozy and relaxing - beautiful lofi music collection + Pomodoro and to-do list feature available for productivity + Great as a desktop wallpaper/idler + Customizable weather condition and time of day + Key bindings, audio settings can be changed
❗Cons
- The UIUX seems a bit unpolished, could be improved, e.g. the starting screen was not a splash screen, which kind of surprised me - Not fully translated, a few items' labels are in Chinese even though my language setting is English - Wish there were more cute/girly/aesthetic items to decorate the rooms with, e.g. fairy lights, makeup, shoes, dressing table - A bit buggy e.g. weird object placements/rotation, cat floats around the room randomly lol (this is pretty …
Ive played this game for a bit after the devs reached out and handed me a copy, and admittedly dont/havent used many studying companion type games, but this one is mostly well done, i've recommended it on my curator page, i dont think anyone can go wrong buying this if they want a study companion. There are a few critiques i DO have about the game, but nothing deal breaking for sure. I used the cyberpunk city exterior for the extent of me playing the game while also exclusively using the new freecam mode, and it definitely had some noticeable issues, notably the cutoff after so far outside of the city. It was very easy to catch a glimpse of where the city cuts off, which is by no means deal breaking (again), just would be so much nicer to have a cohesive, complete feeling city/background outside my window! Something that also bummed me was the lack of complete customization with electronic screens or paintings, the paintings available are great, but it was difficult for me to find something that truly matched what i was going for in my room. Further, the computer screen options are very limited. It'd be nice to see more options be added or a way to upload my own images and have …
