The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. In this case, the asset flipper took a bunch of stolen Synty Studios low poly assets and dumped them lazily onto an Unreal Engine third person shooter/brawler/adventure game template. It has no value or merit as a real game. Lost Island is a small-scale survival and exploration title developed by Valkeala Software in collaboration with Ruskija game experience and published by Tero Lunkka alongside Valkeala Software. Built around a familiar premise, the game drops the player onto a remote island with minimal explanation and leaves them to figure out how to survive using scattered resources, basic tools, and light mission guidance. Rather than offering a tightly structured survival experience, Lost Island opts for a loose, open-ended approach that emphasizes wandering, scavenging, and experimentation over narrative direction or mechanical depth. From the start, the game establishes its survival framework through hunger and thirst systems, encouraging players to search the island for food, drinks, and supplies. These mechanics are present and visible, but their influence on moment-to-moment gameplay is inconsistent, which softens the sense of danger that usually defines the genre. While managing resources initially creates a survival mindset, the lack of meaningful consequences when meters run low gradually reduces tension. 8/10 Game - Gameplay is nice...for a < 1$ game at this current time, its very well done. Graphics could be better. But Gun, Cars, Grenades, and Pirates!? Who could ask for more. Overall I recommend this game!
