Love Flute is a calm, atmospheric visual novel that players appreciate for its gentle storytelling, character development, and the unique addition of simple music busking mechanics that give the gameplay a sense of progression and routine. While most players enjoy the overall experience and find it heartwarming, some feel the management mechanics could be deeper and a few note minor issues like mismatched music in the true ending, though these don't significantly detract from the quiet, emotional journey.
I don't know why I bought this. It might have been because I wanted to see what a visual novel game is like since I was curious and I had never played one before. This wasn't really what I was looking for. You should probably just ignore this review.1 found this helpful
Love Flute is a calm, story-focused visual novel with a small supernatural mystery at the center. You play a struggling young musician trying to get by, and the whole game has that quiet “late evening in the city” mood where you’re just chasing small goals and meeting people. It’s simple, but it gives you a routine and makes the progress feel earned instead of everything happening only through dialogue. The characters are the reason to keep going. The game focuses on bonding moments, awkward honesty, and soft drama rather than big plot twists. When it aims for touching scenes, it usually succeeds without trying too hard. Visually it’s clean and pleasant, and the music theme fits naturally. The soundtrack helps a lot because the game wants you to feel that “music + memory” vibe, and it supports the emotional parts pre…1 found this helpful
flute part is good, love part is fine ~1 found this helpful
A rather short heartwarming story about a wandering ghost and a han she has to fulfil. The only confusing thing is the True Ending's music; it just does not fit. Other than that, the game is great.
Nice visual novel, but the management portion is a little lacking.
very lovely game
