About Love n War: Hero by Chance II

The story continues where Hero by Chance left off. The fight against the Drogakan empire in the West goes on. This time, you will face the might of the empire’s legions and many new interesting opponents. You have collected strong alliances but Drogakad is a force to be reckoned with and it does not forget your defiance in the past. You are the only person who can stand against its wrath and ambition. Therefore, sharpen your skills and lead your band of female warriors to the ultimate victory.

Beautiful Ladies

Deployable Heroines
The hot ladies can now be deployed on the battlefield as individual units with their own unique combat skills. If they are not deployed, you can still employ their strategic skills.

New Equipment Crafting
You can also craft items that change certain units’ abilities and behaviors.

Unit Branchings
For some specific units, you can equip them with crafted items to completely change their combat abilities. For example, a melee camel cavalry can change to an archer camel cavalry with a skill that can retreat while shooting backward.

New Research & Upgrades
Research and upgrade your base to make it more formidable through three branches: Military, Economy, and Technology.

Gem System
Attach gems to your items to improve their efficiency.

Siege Battles
A brand new gameplay mechanic allows you to lay siege to your opponent’s fortress. You can deploy catapults and siege towers to scale your opponent’s walls.
Japanese voice-over for all the ladies

This game has improved significantly compared to the two previous games under the same developer, unfortunately I still cannot recommend it. The adult portion of the game is still below average. The art quality is inconsistent and all characters are shaking meaninglessly all the time. I almost thought they are living in a world with persistent earthquakes. If AI is the benchmark for adult contents, this game is clearly below. There are many battles in the game, very repetitive with little varieties. Although many possible combinations of units, heroes and passive heroes are available, there isn't really any real strategies needed here. Just keep building units countering enemy units and you can win the battle easily. It gets boring really fast. The story line is also quite depressing. You seem to be offered with a choice, and in the end it's a dead end. So you effectively have no choice at all. The MC is basically being driven around by all the enemies and ladies like a puppet. Achievements in the game are mostly straigntforward, but you need to grind the arena level 100 for all achievements. If you don't get enough battle cards along the way, you can reset t…

Well, ONE thing you gotta give to this game is that its bigger than LnWHbC1, and by that, i mean BLOATED. Players of the previous game will remember its simplicity, maybe some of its story. Well, its clear that when developing the sequel, they went for quantity rather than quality. 1- more kinds of units, all upgradable (with money) and with 3 to 4 equipment slots 2- 4 generals to every battle, with a roster of general WAAAAAAY bigger than 4, all upgradable (with money) and with 3 equipment slots. They all have a global skill for when they are not directly in battle, and one frontline skill for when they are 3- Buffs in the form heros you dont deploy in battle, you just bring 3 to every battle, from a BIIIIIIIG roster all of them upgradable (with money) 4- an upgradable castle, the level of which is upgraded with money and you are allowed to upgrade it only so far as YOUR level currently allows you 5- a level based crafting system whih requires money and materials 6- gem sockets for equipment which require money and materials 7- as you can probably guess, the game is GRINDY AF, for which you are allowed to replay every battle over and over and over again 8- along wit…

This series needs polishing but never disappoints. It's improved game after game and always comes with new features. Kudos to the dev for bringing me some good nuts.
