It's a pretty well made platformer that while it feels like a mobile game (Cat Bird immediately came to mind), it plays smoothly and is much more fleshed out. Gameplay felt fair, with "most" deaths being more because I made a mistake than the game being "unfair". The between stage little cutscenes were cute, though some of them played a bit too often (the one with Goreman or whatever I swear I got at least a dozen times), and some of them even kind of punish you for not paying attention by having a QTE associated with it or even a full-on minigame. Overall score: 7/10 for me at full price, but 8/10 at discount. Game only took about 7-8 hours to clear with 100% achievements, but I quite enjoyed that time. Don't know if I'll ever come back to the game like I have to Astalon.3 found this helpful
I really loved playing this retro-style platformer (on Steam Deck)! Only the trailers have narrator/voice acting, but I like it this way! I preferred the cleaner look for the game, I really happy for this game setting! Also, getting the good ending and 100% could take quite longer to acquire... 200 lives/101 found this helpful
A short and sweet game with tons of bonus content. It's like Wonder Boy in Monster Land if it were Super Meat Boy.1 found this helpful
Great game really enjoying it.
It's a nice bit-sized platformer. It's very charming and very funny. The pixel art and music suits the game perfectly.
Been picking this up on my Steam Deck for short bursts that then become huge time sinks trying to get 3 crowns on each level. Hilarious post stage sequences and mechanically sound level design keep me coming back for more. Great game.
