Magic Tiny Lands had me excited at first, but wow, what a letdown! 😅 I expected a whimsical adventure, but instead, I found myself wandering around tiny islands that felt more like a never-ending game of hide-and-seek with no one to find. The graphics were cute, but I swear I spent half my time just trying to figure out what to do next. It’s like the game was playing tricks on me! 🎭 The characters were quirky, but they often felt more like awkward party guests who just wouldn’t leave. And don’t get me started on the quests—they were so vague that I thought I was playing a game of “Guess What I’m Thinking.” Overall, Magic Tiny Lands is a charming idea that just didn’t deliver. If you enjoy confusion and a lot of wandering around with no clear purpose, then this might be your jam! But for me? I think I’ll stick to games where I actually know what’s going on!2 found this helpful
Pros: ➤ Cute art style; ➤ the gliding and +1 extra jump against a wall works well/is fine Cons: ➤ The reviews all seem Ai generated or bot-like*; ➤The controls pissed me off the moment I had to use them: 'W', instead of 'spacebar', OR any other button for that matter, as jump is horribly inconvienient; ➤ if you mess up one little thing, you can only restart to the start of the level but everything stays: so the thing you messed up is there and you have to start all over again; ➤ then, the hitbox of the enemies is grating and too big: I couldn't get past the first spiked creature within that small boxed space; ➤ in addition, I don't like the fact that I can't change anything (no settings, audio, key configs..); ➤ at some point in the second 'level', after a game restart, I glitched the stone past the door but the door opened only half way?; ➤ I CANNOT believe this game is originally 30 bucks?? I bought it for less with the -95% offer, so for the love of god, don't buy this game at its original price. I'm sorry, I know how much time it can take to create something and I'm very open to supporting new and upcoming, indie game developers, but the price is atrocious and a developer shou…1 found this helpful
