About Marenian Tavern Story: Patty and the Hungry God
Patty's brother has been possessed by the God of Poverty and the whole family has become poor, with huge debts... This is the beginning of Patty's struggle! To pay back the debts, let's open a tavern in Marenia, gather ingredients, and start cooking!
Run the adventure tavern how you like! Collect ingredients and cook new dishes above 600! You get level ups not by defeating monsters, but by eating food. Train your characters, conquer new dungeons, and aim to get new ingredients through exploration, farming, fishing, and many more ways!

It is an okay game, the main problem is that. The game's story doesn't really get started until after your restaurant is ranked 10. This takes a long time to do, let alone not enough materials drop. So, it is constantly a slog. My guess is because how this game was originally developed for mobile, so those practices are in play to try and encourage spending. Taking out that portion of it, it left the game just proceeding slowly. I advise if you play this game, to download cheat engine. Find the value for your gems, and lock it at 9999. Buy everything you need, this will help a lot to speed up the game, but not the farming part of it. Anyway, the story revolves around Patty, who runs a restaurant because the God of Poverty created a situation where her father got scammed by Gustav, the antagonist of Adventure Bar Story. Much of the game doesn't really go anywhere, but explains Gustav's part in it. And eventually, it links into Patty's father, and his reason for avoiding his family, and his determination to pay his debts off. The game then introduces Coco's alter ego, which should have been built upon close from the start. Rather, this was sorta tacked on near the end. The system…5 found this helpful
Pretty inoffensive. Gameplay loop is fine but I got bored of it really quickly. Maybe I'll come back to it one day. It's on mobile stores and you can tell it has mobile gaming dna but it's far from the worst. Premium currency has been un-premiumed which is nice vut can create tempting shortcuts. Found the battle system extremely repetitive but the cooking goes into a lot more depth than I thought. Not a game for me at this time but I wouldn't write it off totally. If you want a turn based, cooking management like game, so try any of the Atlier series games. They are build better and the story is actually worth getting invested in.1 found this helpful
If you can get this for under $5, it's probably a good deal.... Half price at $19? It's not ◑﹏◐ (I ended up refunding) I gave it a try, the story at the start was similar to Recettear, business gone tits up, dad takes off to make money and the kids have to set up a store with the help of a... Creature A lot of the dialogue is blocky and not very engaging. Game needs vsync or something, I got a lot of screen tears which was making my eyes a bit screwy (⓿_⓿) It is very grindy: go get materials, make something and sell it... But lets be honest, if you're looking at this kinda game, it's probably right up in your wheel house. JRPG with cozy elements and controller support? I mean, it sounds amazing... I would 100% recommend the devs other game 'Blacksmith of the Sand Kingdom' over this. It's much more polished, and the same price TL:DR I'm not mad, just a little disappointed1 found this helpful
