Medieval wars is a real-time strategy game.
Your lands have been attacked by a horde of evil orcs. They have surrounded the kingdom and are trying to take it away
you have the power. But there are countless knights at your disposal who are ready to

Lucky me gets the dubious honour of writing the first review for yet another construction kit template flip on Steam. Medieval Wars is another GameMaker Studio asset flip from serial copy+paste infringers, Phoenixxx Games. All these guys do is rip off game templates and projects from the Yoyogames/GameMaker Studio store and try to scam people into paying for someone else's work on Steam. They have run asset flip scams half a dozen times, and this is no exception. It's nothing but a cash grab. This time they've ripped off a basic template for a mobile app Galcon ripoff, where you drag your troops onto various control points before the enemy can. Asset/template flips and other "Fake games" (as Valve calls them) are harmful to the industry, because they pollute the marketplace and reduce the visibility and exposure needed by genuine indie developers. In line with dishonest asset flippers, the game was dumped immediately at launch into DailyIndieGame shovelware bundles. Even if this wasn't just an asset flip, it would be garbage. For game with 10 USD base price, lack of tutorial it's simply unacceptable. I had to read review where one review mention this game is rip-off/based on Galcon. Afterwards i read tutorial for Galcon and manage to beat 2 level of this game and decide to stop. Another game straight to "I want to permanently remove this game from my account" and i'd advice all reader to play Galcon or different game inspired by Galcon.4 found this helpful

I bought it on sale for $1.19 and beat it in under an hour. I really liked it. It's got some minor issues, like the level select menu needs keyboard input instead of mouse, but otherwise very solid $1 for an hour of game play.2 found this helpful
