Mega Mosaic

Don't underestimate the fact it's just one big level. It is truly big.

Kind of boring. Having such a large puzzle means no real sense of completion or goals. You just mindlessly keep solving squares and it just feels like busywork. I much prefer groups of smaller puzzles so then everyday when you play, you can at least complete something.

This puzzle is huge, it feels way bigger than the 2024/2025 Retrospectives due to the section dividers being a part of the gameplay by having number clues in them, and I'd argue that it's more difficult to complete because of that. Currently ~50% through as of the time of writing this review, I won't lie, it's been a struggle in parts, but very rewarding. The section reveals are a little treat every time you finish one!

Low stakes minesweeper-like

Pure digital therapy! Watching complex, vibrant artwork piece together right before your eyes as you place each tile is insanely addictive. The controls feel silky smooth, the soundtrack puts you in an instant state of calm, and the sheer volume of detailed levels keeps things endlessly fresh. Finishing a massive image tile by tile gives such a clean hit of dopamine that you'll constantly promise yourself "just one more level" before realizing two hours have completely flown by.

take everything i said about proverbs and apply it here, only issues i had with this game compared to proverbs is that i felt like i couldn't zoom out as far as i could in proverbs and the fact the borders were their own numbers heavily threw me off at first.
