2024: Mosaic Retrospective

~ Sometimes when I close my eyes I see thousands and thousands of numbered squares... ~ This game opened up the world of mega mosaics to me. I had no idea I could be so easily entertained by a gigantic Minesweeper grid where you cannot lose. I've played a couple of styles of mosaic, and this is hands-down my favorite. I really enjoy working in smaller sections and seeing the elements come to life. I genuinely learn a lot about world events and pop culture from playing these games. Please know I will play every single mosaic game you release. Thank you for your work!!!

Similar to the other games in catalogue, its a giant minesweeper with smaller zones which unlock world events from 2024 in pixel art. World history was mildly interesting but main focus for me was the puzzle. Got into a flow state where didn't have to actively think about the numbers, so it was kind of meditative to let the mind wander. There's a hint button in-game if feeling stuck but not really needed, whole thing can be completed with logic and observation. Minor gripe, I played this after Proverbs, and felt some of the zones were too big in comparison. But hey, its free after all.

If you like minesweeper, it's a great way to relax and remember the year, for the low low price of free
