It was great game back in 2013 on phone, sadly last update was in 2016, then the game didn't recieved any updates, good memories1 found this helpful
Once upon a time, I picked this title up to play with a few people who were interested in it. Stuff happened which led this game to hide in the mountain of other ones, collecting digital dust and cobwebs. Today I dusted it off and played it, trying not to let the past taint the experience. It's a solid shooty bang. Feels like an introduction to the genre which I personally appreciate. I also appreciated how the graphics felt well thought out. I didn't feel like I was overwhelmed with action clutter and could see the playing field and what was going on inside of it effortlessly. Simple enough to pick up, fun enough to keep going, and repetitive enough to not overstay its welcome by instead letting you find a shooty shoot groove. It can have the manliest thumbs up I can muster. lol1 found this helpful
Developed and published by Phenomenon Games, Meltdown is an action-packed top-down shooter that combines fast-paced arcade combat with surprisingly deep character progression. Set in a futuristic world overrun by hostile machines and heavily armed adversaries, the game casts players as a mercenary completing dangerous assignments for valuable rewards. While its presentation may initially suggest a straightforward twin-stick shooter, Meltdown gradually reveals a satisfying blend of tactical gameplay, customization, and cooperative action that gives it far more depth than expected. Its core gameplay loop is built around steadily improving your character while taking on increasingly demanding missions, creating a rewarding balance between immediate action and long-term progression. Combat is the game's strongest feature, emphasizing movement, awareness, and intelligent decision-making rather than mindless shooting. Every mission throws a variety of enemy types into the battlefield, each requiring different tactics to defeat. Some opponents aggressively rush toward the player, while others stay behind cover or attack from range, forcing constant adjustments throughout each encounter. …
Simples e muito divertido
Twas fun.
I got a surprising amount of longevity out of this, for the price. This cover-shooter is easy to approach and play, but some of the encounters can be a real challenge. There's a bunch of stuff to unlock, and even multiplayer modes.
