I've played other games by this developer and this one is a bit of a case of style over content. It's a very attractive looking game but it's simplistic and rather dull. I usually can't wait to get back and play a new game but not in this case. There are no secret rooms, objects to interact with, quest logs and it seems to have been rushed out. As an example there are many sign posts and headstones that you click on and they are blank. It's just chests in various places. The enemies are all the same in a particular area and it becomes a bit repetitive and monotonous. There are paths that look as though they might lead you somewhere to something interesting that's hidden and they are just long dead ends. The shops all sell pretty much the same stuff and I'm sorry to say I just found this boring. I don't want to discourage he developer but there are much better games of this genre out there and I think this needs to be considered when they next develop a game.

I think my tolerance for Shovelware has decreased over the years. This game is a good example of that. If you've played a few RPGMaker games before, you'll recognize some of the maps. But that's not the worst part...this game just lacks variety. The Plot is something so overdone that it should be a crime to use it again. In each region or dungeon, you only encounter 1 pair of enemies, each with a slightly different composition. The battles are just there to make this game longer. Maybe that was OK 10 years ago...but this game was only released here on Steam 3 years ago...and honestly (I've had to say this about some other games) I've played free RPGMaker games that were far, far more fun. Oh, and one last thought...I don't understand why the dev used a female picture for the male hero (yes, you can clearly see the bust in his/her armor).

Really neat character design... and that's about it.
