Honestly, this was a rough experience. I put in about an hour and had to stop because everything felt hurried and half-baked. You start with a duo whose relationship isn’t clear, immediately meet a Goddess, and are told to save the world from evil gods (?). Within thirty minutes the party jumps to four members, yet there’s still no real sense of who these people are or why they’re together. Why is the protagonist the chosen one? What happened to the world? The plot moves so fast there’s no time to care. The maps are a mess, they are huge for no reason and poorly designed. The first few maps even seem lifted straight from the Millennium series (or was it Midnight’s Blessing I can't remember but either way, those maps were bad there too). Towns and villages are just as disappointing. Lots of buildings and NPCs you can’t interact with, which kills any sense of exploration. Towns exist mostly to rest, upgrade gear, and restock. In RPGs like this, towns should feel alive — decor, characters, local stories, side quests. None of that spark is here. Overall it feels like a rehash of earlier Aldorlea titles. The narrative revolves around a world shaped by divine influence, where ancient powers and mortal conflicts intertwine. Players follow a group of characters drawn into a larger struggle tied to the actions of gods and the consequences of their intervention. While the premise suggests a grand and mythological scale, the story unfolds in a relatively simple and predictable manner. Dialogue and character interactions provide context and motivation, but the writing remains functional rather than deeply engaging. It succeeds in guiding the player forward, though it rarely surprises or explores its themes in a meaningful way. Gameplay is built around a classic turn-based system, …
