About Microtransaction Simulator

Microtransactions

Who doesn't love shelling out $60 for a season pass when the original game is $40? Or what about grinding chests to get the perfect loot you want? Or getting that non-gameplay enhancing cosmetic that has a 1/6000 unlock chance? Save your money with the free to play game Microtransactions Simulator

A twist on the classical clicker style game where you unlock achievements, get better loot, sell loot, and upgrade your shop.

Yet to Come:

  • Quests with loot
  • More achievements
  • More loot types (not only cards)
  • Useless stuff

An inspiring simulator that made me addicted to gambling. My life is in shambles and my husband left me at around the four hour mark. Also, you need a macro to get all the achievements, otherwise have fun spam clicking for ten hours.

It pokes fun at microtransactions, loot boxes, and all the ridiculous monetization tricks we've seen over the years, and it does it with a good sense of humor.

A surprisingly funny satire of modern gaming monetization. The game fully commits to the joke by constantly throwing absurd upgrades, fake premium features, and ridiculous monetization systems at the player, and somehow it stays entertaining the entire time. It’s a very simple clicker style experience overall, but the humor and presentation give it a lot more personality than expected.

I think it's supposed to be based on TCGs, but there's no art on the cards, just colors to indicate the rarity and numbers that are not explained. You push the "open" button to, I guess, open a pack of four cards, then you click on each card to expose its rarity and number. This is the main game mechanic, and soon becomes tedious. Then you sell cards, either individually or all at once. Then you start the whole process over. You can buy boosts from the store. I couldn't tell if they were permanent, there is no visibility in that. Progress is slow and nothing fun happens.

"Guys, I've been playing since I was two, I can tell from experience that it's not addicting."
