I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of y…1 found this helpful
The story drags forever, graphics look like a 90s demo, controls feel slippery as oil on glass. Yet the midnight moon does a disco and the tiny monster crumbs taste like carrot cake, oddly charming!
The overall idea is nice, but in the end, I couldn't figure out which direction to go or where to find the key object. I also found that searching for all the key objects made the endless battles quite tedious. In the end, I just gave up searching endlessly for the item I needed to do something near the organ. It became too frustrating to continue.
This had an interesting premise, but lacks in map development, enough guidance for hints to figure out the next location of quests, and very unfriendly battle system. Some bosses are incredibly hard and make you wonder if there is a glitch. And in fact, I was unable to progress the game because I would kill Dracula first and the demon lives forever. And Dracula, without the sprite, is still able to attack my characters. When the battle goes on for 15 minutes with no hints of ending in an RPGmaker game, it counts as a glitch in my book. In fact there are a lot of glitches in this game, which I avoided a few by reloading save files, but I was unable to finish the game because of the final boss. Hope your next game is better.
In the beginning, the game looked rather interesting so I decided to give this game a go. I love RPG games and I thought at first this game had plenty of potential and one that I'd want to invest time into. Boy was I wrong. I've invested more than 15 hours of game play out of sheer spite to want to finish this game because I hate having to leave a game unfinished. That being said, I will not likely finish this game. There are no maps, no walkthroughs, and no suggestions on how to defeat a ridiculously hard boss. I can't recommend a game such as this for the awful actual game play. If a game is going to have a lot of talking/cut scenes please please please put them on auto so I don't have to click an unnecessary absurd amount every single time! I've lost utter interest in all the reading as it has a poor attempt at fourth wall breaking, humor and explaining the story line. Side Quests should be listed, but I have found that more often than not, I found stuff by exploring and having no idea who to talk to or deliver it to. They are actually mostly vague and at all worth finishing since you can't just go back and check on what ones you have active or not. And finally, I don't min…
It's fun at first but then the weapons and new skills become few and far between and you have to hunt for crystals that have skills for individual players. This probably starts around the time you hit the prison part then into the snowy lands. If you don't explore every single place, you won't find them and that character must be in the party when you do find a crystal for them. In the meantime, your enemies respawn time and time again and constantly run toward and attack you. The way the enemies crowd and attack you with no way to escape is ridiculous and so very not fun because your players are so underpowered and enemies overpowered. It takes forever to beat a regular enemy and waaaaay too long to beat a boss. On the plus side, the characters are often funny in their bickering. Kudos for the clever writing.
