Experienced on the Meta Quest 3
You can view my gameplay here: https://youtu.be/A_JnqY108Ms So yeah this app is very niche. If you have mental issues and love VR, then I can recommend this for you given the budget price of only $5 USD. Keep your expectations low. I wish it was easier to do your own notes within the app. You should be able to dictate or just type using a virtual keyboard the notes you want, along with the topic. Instead, you have to import them. I used notepad. It's probably not the best app to use for importing notes, but it's the only one I had. I am not familiar with the other note apps mentioned. You can make a simple drawing for a note, but it'll look like dog water. The world itself is nice to explore, given the budget price. The big problem is that there is only snap turning. You would think VR devs would know by now that not having a Smooth Turn option in your game is like shooting yourself on the foot when VR sales are involved. You probably cost yourself half the audience that might have been interested in your app or game. At least it has full, smooth locomotion. Luckily, I"m a generous fellow. I bought this app anyways. I don't regret it. I…

Mind Palace is one of the more unusual and creative VR experiences available on Steam, offering a blend of exploration, idea organization, artistic expression, and surreal environmental design that feels more like stepping into a living thought process than playing a traditional game. Developed and published by fatderda, the project invites players into a dreamlike virtual world where notes, concepts, memories, and creative ideas can be physically placed throughout large explorable spaces. Instead of focusing on combat, objectives, or conventional progression systems, the experience revolves around curiosity, imagination, and personal interaction with a strange digital environment that constantly encourages experimentation. The central idea behind Mind Palace is surprisingly ambitious. Players can create their own interactive mental spaces by placing notes, drawings, images, PDFs, and other pieces of information throughout the world itself. Rather than storing thoughts inside menus or static lists, the game transforms organization into a physical activity where ideas become part of the environment. Walking through caves, forests, floating pathways, and abstract structures while di…

Sadly can't recommend this right now. There's no smooth turning and you can't write notes in game. I don't take notes in my day to day life and thought this could be a little vr world I could explore and write down my thoughts, but you cant.

I really liked exploring the game world, it's well designed with interesting things to discover all over. I think the npcs that are spread around the map are kind of creepy though and their waving animation was glitchy. I also couldn't figure out how to make notes out of what I type and draw with the keyboard and whiteboard, it would be nice if the tutorial covered that. I liked the tutorial npc too.
