My only two criticism is looping music is too short making it awkward and camera angles occasionally placed bad. Other than that it was a great fun of 25ish minutes experience for me. Good luck in your careers.1 found this helpful

Mirlo Above the Sun was fun game! Below I've listed some of the pros and cons - Keeping in mind that this is a student project and it was great! Pros - The artwork was amazing! It looked great and for the most part the movement felt smooth. The Boss Fight at the end of the game felt thought out and well done! Cons - The fixed Camera Movement was not my favorite, but it wasn't terrible? Sound Effects Were lacking
what an awesome game! loved every minute of it.
Needs a lot more polish. The platforming is wonky, combat is generic and the music sounds like stock music
For a free game, it has a lot of potential. It's not quite a fully-fleshed game, in my opinion, but it serves its purpose as an exposure for the devs. I ran into a few bugs with the camera angle and softlocked myself out of sight. The enemies are a little repetitive, and the game could use more puzzles for the player to figure out instead of the solutions being handed on a plate. I wish there was an option for a jump-dash, and the attack animation for the enemies could use a little more work. The ending doesn't give as much of a punch as the opening cutscene. No closure to Mirlo's entire journey to free the Beast, which caught me off-guard when the credits just start rolling. I would recommend it as a study for aspiring game devs. Since it's a student project, I will give it a lot of grace. The devs have a hand in the game industry if they keep trying :)
