Mon-Musu Quest

Mon-Musa Quest (not to be confused with the legendary "Monmusa Quest!", not on Steam), is a cute RPGmaker adventure with the cliche 'stop the demon lord' plot. While it definitely doesn't reinvent the wheel with it's gameplay, the simplistic monster girls and scenes are still cute and well drawn. The dialogue between the three main characters is cute and funny at times, and the story is slightly unique in that the hero isn't really lauded as a hero, but instead treated like a freeloader for reasons explained in the opening. You travel around the world, learning 'skills' for 'putting down' the world's monster girls, while learning more about whats happening. It's not a terribly long game, I clocked in at just under 7 hours, but I enjoyed it. Was it worth $15? Probably not, but if you're looking for something in the monster girl genre then it definitely scratches that itch. In regards to the translation, it's a bit rough at times, but overall it wasn't terrible. Be sure and pick up the free uncensored patch (listed with the game on Steam) to fix most of the translation and visual errors introduced by the censored version. Cute, pervy, and a genuinely enjoyable rpgmaker game~!

Somehow, the BGM takes me back to the time I was playing the old Dragon Quest games of yesteryear. In terms of difficulty, some battles can get difficult if your level is not high enough so head west first on the world map. Also, try not to engage the Demon King if your level is below 25 and the final boss (yes, the Demon King is NOT the final boss) must only be engaged at level 30 or above. Too bad that you can't recruit the Mon-Musu that you like into your party. Personally, the game is an 8 out of 10 for me.

don't forget to download the free dlc patch for adult contents. a classic retro style rpg reminisce to the old dragon quest style rpgs. a semi short game ranging around 6-8 hours but this is what you commonly get for adult theme rpgs. don't let my game time fool you. i played this game to completion a long time ago so it's nice to see this game on steam. this game runs in a 2 tier combat system. you have to kill enemies to gain experience for leveling up and you have to engage in sexual combat to get powerful equipment. the equipment sold in stores are weak so if you want better equipment, penetrating the monster girls is the way to go. to go into sexual combat, you have to use the skill 'push down'. it works when the opponent's hp is below half. the lower it gets the higher the chance to succeed. luckily, there is a skill to reduce their hp to 1 if you are over powered and can one shot them. each time you thrust, it cost 3 mp. the objective is to make them climax before your mp reach 0. if they didn't climax, they will escape. if they climaxed, there is a 20% chance of them dropping their item. if you can time it right and make them climax when your mp reach 0, the item drop rate …

Short game, took me around 7 hours but I also play extremely slowly and like to thoroughly explore everything. It's a faithful JRPG with a decent variety of enemies. The lewd scenes are basic and exactly what you'd be expecting, The translation is bad but easily understandable, there's some variety in battling styles but honestly it's so easy to get overpowered that you'd either just all basic attack for normal enemies or use your biggest damage spell and dedicate your warrior to defense with the Hero just basic attacking the whole time, and the storyline is nothing to write home about. Incredibly basic JRPG with very basic lewd mechanics if that's what you want but unfortunately: The enemy spawnrate is way too high, You never fight multiple enemies at once despite the game seeming to allow for that, The translation is only barely passable, and there's no information on the game I can find anywhere if you get lost (make sure you remember where Rototo's Grave is). Also why is the only bonus exp gain item right next to the final boss. And what happened to the final boss' health bar? I like the game. I will finish it. But there is a need to grind near the end of the game for the last two bosses (Not counting the extra boss.) A bit of a let down. Still. Recommended.
