Bought it through a bundle, got through the tutorial, played a few AI matches, and then waited for a very long time waiting for PVP before looking at reviews and the state of the game. Its a dead game. Very unfortunately. I would love to see a Hotseat Mode for local play, but other than that? This game is fun, unique, and the mini painting tools are NEXT TO NONE (i would buy an app that lets me digitally paint minis to test things like this)5 found this helpful

Full disclosure: I don't really know how the capital G Gameplay of this game goes yet, I'm actually not much of a mini wargame kinda of guy. HOWEVER: I really like painting minis, painting minis is expensive, and I have cats who will absolutely chew the heck outta any minis I might paint. I say all that to say that with 50+ minis to paint, and a bunch of audio podcasts included in the interface for this game, I adore taking the time to just sit there, paint, and listen to cool stories by Dan Wells! The painting tools are top notch, and the stories are rock solid too. I'm waiting for a friend to pick this up so we can play against each other and I can say anything at all about the gameplay, but even without that, this game gets a hearty recommendation from me for anyone who likes painting minis but can't afford the hobby irl or if you want ANOTHER way to put off painting your greys (I see you).
[NEUTRAL REVIEW] Tactical battles against AI are fun but don't seem balanced. Painting your figures is really cool. The krafting system sucks though and PvP is dead.
