WARMACHINE: Tactics

Это конечно не Xcom, но какое-то извращенное удовольствие получить можно. Кампания стандартная, злые злодеи хотят заполучить злой артефакт, надо их победить. DLC кампания чуть интереснее, но там походу деньги на озвучку закончились, и вместо статичных моделек с озвучкой как в оригинале мы получили раскадровку комикса. Если бы были нейтральные обзоры то поставил бы нейтральный. Максимально средняя (и будто бы до сих пор недоделанная) игра.

As a fan of turn-based tactics games, I wanted to love Warmachine Tactics, but the game's rough edges make it hard to wholeheartedly recommend. The core gameplay faithfully captures the tabletop feel — watching warjacks hammer enemies with satisfying ragdoll physics is genuinely great — but the clunky UI, wonky camera that constantly hides behind terrain, and brain-dead AI that just charges straight at you undermine every moment of fun. The cutscenes are particularly jarring, with completely frozen character models while the camera pans around them, which feels unacceptable even for an indie title. The DLC model also stings: paying full price and then being asked to shell out more for additional factions while core features remain broken is a tough sell. If you're a die-hard Warmachine tabletop fan and can grab this on a deep sale, there's something worthwhile buried here — but for everyone else, the frustrations outweigh the rewards.

It was fine, nothing special, but was abandoned. Do not purchase now.

I played the demo, i am a long lasting afficionado of digital wargames and this adaptation of the Warmachine Iron Kingdoms role-playing wargame is amazing and also i believe the only option in the digital market (someone correct me if happen to stumble upon this quick review) i think this type of game is specifically for a very precise audience, and i'm that audience. I loved the demo, the story, the drama and it hooked me so strong, that i'll be definetely grabbing this in the future.

Not without it's flaws but the multiplayer can be quiet good if people use it. Pretty balanced. Based in mk 2 feels like mk 4 these days.

love the way this game mixes settings
