Muffin fight is game that demonstrates the full power and potential of VR. Unlike most games where you sit around with a keyboard and mouse, winners in this game will need cunning, speed, and physicality. You're constantly bending down to bake your muffins, picking them up, carefully aiming and throwing. These aren't your simple tosses, these are aggressive chucking as your muffin sails through the air and smashes your opponents in the head. At first you'll think the game is easy, but you only have two hands to operate 4 main controls (lid, spatula, gun and oven door) plus you need hands free to combine items, while keeping a watchful eye on any inbound muffins, creates a hectic experience, but two thumbs up too. I've played this game several times, as I was one of the lucky ones to play with the beta. Super fun time, highly recommended.3 found this helpful
Fun Arcady VR game, very tiring so best experienced in short bursts.2 found this helpful
Its a super fun game. Its a shame not many people know about it.2 found this helpful
Do you like baking muffins? Do you like chucking those freshly baked muffins at people? Then this is probably the game for you!2 found this helpful
Disclaimer: I've received this game for free via Curator Connect. Muffin Fight is a very simple PvP focused multitasking action game. Online multiplayer is completely dead and single player mode is just plain boring. I'm ok with a VR game having small player base: a lot of amazing titles can only be properly played in their peak times. But Muffin Fight has no peak times - the only way to have a PvP match is to organize it via discord. This is way too much trouble for an average user(including me) to bother. Gameplay itself is lacking variety but overall it is fine. Throwing is responsive and fun while grabbing is a bit clunky - it's very easy to grab the wrong item. P.S. The game works on Reverb G2 just fine.1 found this helpful
There are never other people online to play with and single player is absolutely boring. Most players play time submitting reviews is under 1h which reflects that the game is not re-playable for very long. The game lacks variety and creativity in its overall design. Controls are touchy with difficulty actually choosing what you want to grab. The oven door closing sometimes causes an infinite loop of sound that never stops. Graphics quality is poor and fuzzy no matter what headset you use. This company likes to discriminate, hence why all the characters are cis white males in the game. Just remember by purchasing this game you are supporting the company making it. Would not recommend- there are a lot of better multiplayer VR games out there even for the price. I suspect many of the other reviews are from the developers "receiving the game for free". Buyer beware!!
