About My Mad Scientist Roommate Turned Me Into Her Personal Robotic Battle Maiden?!?
Sam has had a run of bad luck lately. After inadvertantly upsetting their mad scientist roommate, their consciousness is downloaded into a robotic battle maiden known as a S.E.R.A. unit. And yes, they're now a female robotic battle maiden. If that wasn't bad enough, they've now been dragged into a magical dimension known as The Frakk and forced to take part in a civil war between opposing monster girl tribes.
Being a robotic battle maiden is honestly kind of cool, once you get past the abject humiliation of the whole situation. Being forced to obey the orders of your criminally insane roommate is a bit of a drawback though, as is being forced to refer to her as 'Mistress Ellie' due to some obstructive programming in your new robot body. Will Sam find a way to return to their original human body, or will they be spending the rest of eternity as a glorified appliance?

My Mad Scientist Roommate Turned Me Into Her Personal Robotic Battle Maiden?!? is a game where much of the draw is its personality, story, and characters. If you liked the gaggle of weirdos and truckloads of nonsense found in prior games, RBM offers a whole lot more of that. As a simulation RPG, it’s actually pretty easy to get into, and does not require any extra fiddling or a guide to play. Which, as someone sheepish of the genre, I consider a plus. It has a bunch of little problems, but overall, I had a pretty fun time with it. This is a weird, kinky game. But I liked it. Definitely playing as a butt monkey forced into a life of servitude, where the big bad is actually one of the nicest towards you, so it's got a lot of comedy. But I dunno. I like robot girls.1 found this helpful
[SPOILERS AHEAD] I really wanted to like this one, but MC's situation is completely and abjectly horrifying. At no point towards the end did I feel like MC was enjoying themselves or having an 'awakening' in other TG games, but rather over the course of in-game months, after getting murdered and enslaved by a narcissistic psycho, gets abused, bullied, humiliated, brainwashed, and gaslighted (both in the traditional sense and magically) to the point where they just accept what's happened to them like an amputee learning to live with fewer limbs. The titular mad scientist also just lets anyone have admin access to MC just by asking or by making deals - you can dress that up in sidequests and cutesy dialogue all day but I know pimping when I see it. I genuinely don't want to play HITIAM after this because the promotional material shows Ellie, the war criminal mad scientist, living their happiest best life. I'd rather see Sam/Sera get this reward, however it may manifest, while Ellie rots in jail. -"Because it's funny", says the mad scientist when MC is really sad about being humiliated -"You were actually kind of a loser", says the mad scientist when MC is really sad about dying and …1 found this helpful
This prequel to Alluna and Brie was really good and I loved seeing where S.E.R.A came from. She has to be my fave character in the whole series of games. Loved all the characters story scenes.
The fifth entry in Lached Up Games' Axonverse series. The new sprites are very good. The writing is still the main reason you should play this series. I recommend playing with a gamepad, as you can't edit the keyboard configuration, and perhaps reading a couple guides on how to level up your party.
Now I've got to preface this, the game is NOT for everyone Lifesims are a weird genre, you switch between an RPG and VN. Lached Up Games is most well known for their silly Visual Novel it remains true here, if you're looking for a super indepth RPG I don't recommend it but if you've played Max 1 and 2 and enjoyed the Hijinks of the characters and want another VN about the secondary characters and especially where they come from this is what you want to look into. The party is made up of a Junkie and a recovering Junkie who have both been huffing raw magic, a mad scientist who says she's fighting against corruption and injustice but her methods leave much to be desired and the main character who needs to pick better friends and is the only reasonable person around. As a Visual Novel with combat the game is pretty fun, Lached Up Games is very forgiving so if you aren't great at rpgs or don't really care for the combat you aren't gonna have a hard. You get rewarded for babysitting your party members out of fights and hanging out with the people you meet a long the way. The Mini stories you get to do each in game month are where the game really shines and get better each chapter, the…
