Robot girl's dream -RobotBattleChampionship-

Extremely earnest and charming character-raising RPG that I enjoyed 100%ing over 20 hours! It took me about 6 hours for my first playthrough, then 2-3 for subsequent ones - it fit very perfectly in the evenings after work. Robot Girl's Dream has very funny writing and heartfelt character arcs that feel almost like a morning cartoon in energy - it's lighthearted with lots of chances to act like a total gremlin (I love Thin's personality) yet still very sweet and endearing. There's plenty to discover through repeated playthroughs, and I love how characters appear in multiple arcs as well as the main RPG section - it really makes the world feel vibrant. The RPG section is also very fun - I loved how the combat felt like puzzle-solving, repeatedly retrying battles attempting to figure out the right series of actions to barely claim victory, and as I played the game more, I was able to build up more and more successful strategies. Mamo and Bestra are my favorites!

its all just yuri?

Though some bits and pieces aren't translated very well (usually names of skills/effects and very rarely in the actual story), this is a very fun story to read through with many character arc's to explore. As someone else described it, the earnestness of this game's writing had me hollering out loud with laughter more than once and did a fantastic job of endearing the characters to me. The gameplay for the fights you get into in this are actually quite interesting, though they can be unforgiving to people playing it for the first time, as they get a general handle on the various ways you can power-up Thin, the robot you play as. If you get this, don't let yourself get discouraged if you get a game over, since there are many ways to progress through the story and you can fast forward through any previously read text.

Very underrated game! Despite this game being about robots, it has so much SOUL. You can really tell the team put a lot of passion into this game. It may not look like it from the outside, but this game has surprisingly good amount of content and replay value. If you've ever played persona, it's similar in the way where you're rewarded with stats, locations, and items the more you develop bonds with characters you meet throughout the game, and trust me it felt this game had like 50 different character plotlines you could follow. Gameplay wise, this game is HARD. Don't be afraid to play on easy mode since the only difference between that and the other difficulties is that you get more revives if you lose a fight. You're more than likely going to lose a run and remember locations of the strong items next time in your next playthrough. The only real gripe I had with the game was that the music got real repetitive very fast. If you can get past that however, the rest of the game is great. Definitely would recommend + it has very cute robot girls

Cute game. Surprising depth. Music is very... uh, present, but other than that it has some replayability too. Yuriful game.
