About NEDRA

In the frozen wastelands of Antarctica, an abandoned Soviet station hides an ancient, otherworldly presence. When an SOS signal draws an expedition to a mysterious crater, disaster strikes, leaving you stranded during the six-month polar night. The fight for survival begins as you take refuge in the station, where you must uncover its terrifying secrets while battling deadly temperatures and heat-sensitive creatures—before the cold consumes you.

Survival Horror Meets Stealth Action

Survive the relentless cold and evade the Frostwalkers, terrifying creatures that sense body heat. To avoid detection, you must lower your body temperature dangerously close to hypothermia—but the deeper the cold, the closer you are to death. Regain warmth with iodine-alcohol mixtures, but beware: warmth makes you visible to the creatures.Search for supplies and navigate labyrinthine stations to unravel the truth behind the Antarctic station and its ominous past. Every corner holds danger, but the only way forward is through the unknown.

Adventure Beyond Fear

NEDRA isn’t just about survival horror—it’s a haunting journey into discovery, resilience, and the blurred line between humanity and the otherworldly.   Explore a world steeped in lost history and face dilemmas where survival may not always be the ultimate goal.

Game Features

  • Immersive Atmosphere: Navigate a world of perpetual darkness and unrelenting cold, meticulously blending Soviet-era design with cosmic terror. Inspired by Lovecraftian horror, Stanisław Lem's Solaris, and John Carpenter's The Thing, NEDRA delivers a haunting, otherworldly experience steeped in isolation and dread.
  • Intense Horror Gameplay: Carefully balance intense combat with strategic stealth to survive nightmarish creatures and uncover the hidden truths of the station.
  • Dynamic Survival Systems: Balance body temperature, manage scarce resources, and make life-or-death decisions to stay alive in an unforgiving environment.
  • Narrative Depth: Uncover dark conspiracies, ancient secrets, and a story that challenges your perceptions of morality, survival, and the unknown.
  • Multiple Endings: Your choices shape the outcome, leading to one of three distinct endings.
Face the horrors of the polar night, where every shadow hides a threat, every sound signals danger, and every step leads you closer to the truth—or your doom.

I really want to like this game because of art and novel concept, but combat system is just terrible, almost amateurish. Chapter 2 -- I go out of the building, this white monsters attack, the animations seem janky and stupid, they surround me and idk what to do next. Strange.

all in all id say its a pretty decent game, one of the best indie horrors i personally played, and definitely impressive work for a solo developer! there are some bugs like randomly getting stuck in certain places but other than that it's fun to play, and the eerie atmosphere is on point as well! tho i couldnt finish it due to being unable to find the combination for the safe that was said to be "above the map" in that 1 house, i kept looking everywhere and couldn't find it, might just be me tho

this game is criminally overrated, absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of a game with awful mechanics, janky combat and awful optimisations to fps, the gameplay is go from building 1 to building 2 to building 3 (which is actually building 1 in disguise) and then so on. 0/10 i do not recommend also the voice acting is awful

Absolutely terrible experience. Physics don’t work half the time; walls are often just a suggestion, because you can frequently move or attack through them. The AI is completely broken, and the protagonist is annoyingly talkative, narrating everything he does (the voice acting is pretty bad too). The story could be interesting, but I don’t think I’ll be able to get past all the bugs to find out. Early on, it’s a very generic “we found an alien object and monsters killed everyone” plot that’s been regurgitated countless times since Dead Space. EDIT: I pushed through and the story is completely forgettable. The only good part about this game is that it can be finished under 3 hours. Complete waste of money.

This game is a janky mess. took waaaaaay too much off my cpu to run most of the time. However, gotta say i'm impressed with what one developer put together. It needs a lot more work before it's worth any money
