About Nelson and the Magic Cauldron: The Journey
"Nelson and the Magic Cauldron: The Journey" is a classic point & click adventure, with lots of puzzles and funny dialogues.
In his new adventure, Nelson is invited to a competition where all participants are supposed to prepare magic potions.
Unfortunately, he is already late to make the necessary preparations, but his uncle Sid had the saving idea ... a trip with an airship.
In this game there are again a lot of crazy characters who confront Nelson with almost unsolvable tasks. But of course everything with a lot of humor.

Players appreciate the classic point-and-click gameplay with enjoyable puzzles and charming voice acting featuring German accents, though opinions on the art style and writing quality are divided. Common complaints include the game's short length (under 2 hours), sparse environments that feel lifeless, slow character movement without a run option, and an abrupt ending that feels unsatisfying to many players.
Woah, that was a really bad experience. Lazy writing, wrong geometry, super easy puzzles, senseless story, mediocre jokes, short, English localization is even worse than the German speakers. You should not buy this game, under no circumstances.4 found this helpful
Pros -The puzzles are enjoyable and easy enough that the game flows along quite nicely. -The game is fully voiced. The voice acting might be a little odd for some with all the German accents but It was good quality and quite charming. -The controls work well. Fully playable with mouse and you can click to skip dialog, Cons - Art-style was a little bit cold for my taste, Scenes felt very sparse, quite often very little to interact with - Dialog options don't get removed or highlighted when used. - There is no skip scene or teleport or even run, so in some you have to wait for your character to walk slowly across the scene -Game is super short. Easily beatable in less than 2 hours and the ending was very abrupt and unsatisfying. I guess I recommend it for die hard point and click fans but you will probably want to get it on a big sale. I do accept paying a bit extra for voice acting but I would have expected more content for the asking price.1 found this helpful
ENG
Description Nelson and the Magic Cauldron: The Journey is a classic point & click adventure game, interspersed with lots of puzzles and quite funny dialogues. You accompany Nelson on his turbulent journey to a magic competition. Accompanied by his friends and with an airship, of course, nothing goes according to plan. Graphics The graphics take some getting used to and the environment is very sterile and lifeless. This all affects the atmosphere quite a bit and it all seems very uncharitable. Sound Is present and okay. Controls Classic point & click and you get along with it right away. Conclusion Unfortunately, the lifeless and loveless environment affects the atmosphere and the game's fun, and the quite good dialogs and puzzles can't make up for that. It's also a pity that you're already through after two hours if you take your time. For fans of classic point & click, it's still worth a look. For all others, it can only be recommended to a limited extent. The controls are easy to use it is indeed a point and click kind of game. I really loved this game and enjoyed the puzzles. The puzzles in this game are unique and something I have never seen in any other puzzle game! I love the cartoon style graphics.1 found this helpful
