On one hand, I did enjoy this short VN with a cute ninja girl and it has a good gallery / memory feature, but on the other hand, it has several issues that prevent it from justifying a solid recommendation. [olist][*]Very short VN with limited choices - that makes the price point pretty high without a discount. [*]Story-wise, it follows the standard anime tropes of a rather cowardly protagonist meeting a clumsy dream girl. [*]R18 patch available on Qureate's page, but that one still has mosaic. You'll need to look a bit further for non-mosaic patch. [*]L2D animation is only for VN dialogue, the H-scenes are drawn well but are static images. [*]Some obvious spelling errors in English translation, though still comprehensible. [*]Game doesn't tell you when Sumire finishes speaking, so its possible to accidentally skip dialogue because there is a rather long pause between words. [/olist] Since Steam doesn't have a Neutral rating and the negatives stand out when compared to other VNs, I have to give it a thumbs down, even though I did enjoy it for the art and its specific appeal. It's uninteresting from start to finish. Pointless story + only one character to talk. This was a complete waste of time for me. I've tried this because there are some games that I like from this developer. Art and music is nice but they are not going to save this.

NinNinDays is a simple and short feel good visual novel about your everyday insert mc running into a country bumpkin ninja girl, and starting a life together. The story itself is fairly basic and simple, but that was obviously put on the back burner by focusing the attention on Sumire's character. She definitely feels like the average clueless waifu to be trope, but that is forgiven because Sumire is cute as a button. The real defining factor for NinNinDays is the fantastic art style which is just drop dead gorgeous to look at. The backgrounds, CGs, and character sprites are so fantastically done that it is just a pleasure to look at them. I totally recommend picking this one up for yourself at some point for the art alone.
