✦ AI summary

Players praise the game's atmospheric horror experience with striking visuals, interesting story, and unique Chinese folklore elements that create an eerie, dreamlike atmosphere with solid puzzle design. However, common complaints focus on technical issues, bugs, rough polish that detracts from immersion, and a feeling that despite its ambitions the execution comes across as somewhat cheap or unfinished, making it best suited for players tolerant of those flaws.

The bits I've played thus far in the game have been solid imo. The game looks very nice graphically and there is an interestin' story on hand. There are voice overs as well but they're in Chinese. Subtitles are provided tho. I did get stuck but it didn't last long. I just happened to overlook an item. I do liek that the puzzles encountered haven't been too difficult. If ur into indie horror then take a look. The price tag may be a bit much for some (I understand) but it doesn't break the bank too much. Gameplay Impressions: https://youtu.be/L-aJiGUy8Ac

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ I played No Return curious about its eerie, looping horror—like a twisted, dreamcore version of coming home. Its corridors felt unsettlingly familiar yet always just off, with gorgeous visuals and a thick atmosphere that really stuck with me. The Chinese folklore elements added a unique flavor to the puzzles and story. Steam Store Rely on Horror That said, the experience felt rough around the edges. It currently holds a Mostly Negative rating (around 32% positive reviews), with some players pointing out bugs, lackluster polish, and issues like flasht that distract from immersion. Steam Store So, if you’re into surreal, slow-burn psychological horror and don’t mind a few glitches, this is certainly worth a shot—it’s haunting and memorable. But if you expect tight polish or fluid pacing, it might leave you feeling unsettled for the wrong reasons. https://youtu.be/tk_Z1SMlmzM
