What is O3DX?
O3DX is an offroad racing and physics obstacle game with a whole new approach. It blends the fun factor and playability of side scroller racing games with the artistic splendour of free roam full 3d games that utilise cinematic camera angles. O3DX is the first game to employ this new type of genre. This is not a free roam game. It behaves like a side scroller but all action happens in 3D space with 360 degree camera angles.
If I purchased early access do I also get the ‘official’ version?
Yes! Everyone who purchased Early Access has the game and will recieve all future updates.
How complete is the Alpha?
The game is finished and ready to launch. We want this brief Alpha phase to discover any remaining bugs and get your feedback. If any feature request is in high demand we will add it to the game before the launch. Please try it out and let us know what you think.

Wanted to like this one, looked promising but it just gets in its own way... The game isn,t too bad, but it's nothing special either. Kinda like Elastomania/X-moto with decent graphics but way worse gameplay. So you just controls this car that's stuck on a track, you don't steer, but you control acceleration, brakes and "leaning" the car forward/backward. The two big problems are that the physics aren't that good, feels really weird, and that the camera really doesn't help you play the game. First you're basically never shown where you're headed, so good luck preparing for that next jump, and then you use left/right arrows to lean back/forward, expect sometimes you'll see your car from the lef,t sometimes from the right, sometimes from behind... This makes the controls way more counter-intuitive than they should be. Add to this that the menus are really weird and don't respond correctly to clicks and mouse movement most of the time and you've got a game that looks like it could be good, but sadly isn't.8 found this helpful
03DX is a puzzle game in which you have to help a car get across a track. You don't steer, you only control forwards/backwards speed and braking. If it sounds like fun, it isn't. Tracks are littered with explosive barrels that make you start over and because of the incredibly poor camera you will constantly hit them. Half the time you can't see where you're going, the other half you're puzzled by the bizarre physics and performance of the cars. It's also visually unimpressive with poor sound effects. I'm not really sure if O3DX is an asset flip. Some elements of this game certainly make it seem like the developer put some effort into assembling some kind of original here. On the other hand, a lot of the game assets don't seem like they were created by the developer, but they haven't credited any asset creators for supplying assets, which might be a case of plagiarism. There's no evidence, so we need to give the benefit of the doubt... regardless, asset flip or not, the quality here is indistinguishable from many asset flip/cash grab scams, and that's a problem in itself. O3DX looks like a cool off road racing game, doesn't it? Well, you're wrong. This is a lazy and shallow mobile app style "action" runner game. The "humvee" ripoff you see in the screenshots can move forward or backward around a 3D rendered obstacle course, but make no mistake, this is a linear course. You cannot steer! You're trapped on this path and you have to negotiate the obstacles by "leaning" left and right by tapping on various controls on your iPhone screen. This was obviously made for mobile phones, it looks, feels and smells like an iPhone app. It's unpleasant and shallow to play. …3 found this helpful
This is the first time that I removed my own review, because it was so outdated and couldn't just fix it. I gave this game positive, because it was Trials-like. DAMN, I was so dumb at that time and also didn't played much with this... Now I revisited this game after 2 years. Holy crap... The idea is great (Trials-like game with off-road cars), but the result is really bad. Physics is bad (furious, yeah, sometimes the ground swallows you after jump, sometimes skyrockets you in air, unexpected randomness), the sound quality is bad, the game crashes often (Once actually crashed into exploding barrels in game and the game decided to quit instantly, hell yeah), level design is horrible (you can actually stuck and have to restart) and the camera movement almost made me vomit. Trying to complete the Boot Camp part, but with these things, I don't think I want that hard. If you check the achievements, you can see that almost nobody actually played this game. I think I got this one from a bundle. Because 8€ is just too much for this. Random clue: Boot camp level 6: you have to drop yourself actually, not jump. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=24355500703 found this helpful
It's hard to make me feel bad about spending $2 but this game did it.2 found this helpful
Feels like it is built for mobile. Not a terrible thing, but coupled with one of the worst cameras of all time this just isn't fun.
