Off-Road Paradise: Trial 4x4

The demo looked pretty good. Unfortunately the full version refuses to load and everybody says its someone elses problem

They say, you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. But if every chapter of said book consist entirely of one copy and pasted rock asset, you really don't need to read it. Bonus points if writer takes its test map and shovels it as "Arena Mode"

I really saw the potential of this game... Unfortunatly it failed on too many levels. Positives: + The whole idea of a offroad trial game on small rock islands with a tropical theme + Some of the levels are fun and nice to play, and give a good vibe + a lot of levels + ok graphics Negatives: - It feels like driving a bouncy ball on ballon tires in really low gravity - bad grip - bad physics (feels more like on the moon than on earth) - on/off controls, nothing in between, which makes it very hard to play on some levels - the camera angels are not great - the upgrades you need to complete some levels, you get in the end - some levels are horrible to complete, and frustrating as h.... - no diff locks, low level gear, 2wd/4wd change and so on - the car falls over way to easy, and its not realistic at all - bugs that make the car completely stuck when it shouldnt have happend - the game sometimes freezes and you're thrown out of it The game feels more like an early access than a finished product. It could have been fantastic and funny to play, and sometimes it is. But too often its just frustrating and grinding trying to do the same levels over and over again because of bad physics.…

Bought this game at 75% off and I am still disappointed. The physics is not that good. And in a game that relies on physics, its important to get at least that part right. Graphics are ok, nothing to brag about, yet it still gets horrible lag on a RTX 2080. Level 16 was especially bad with logs flying around making this a 5 fps game at times. But the worst thing about this game is that no matter if I start it with or WITHOUT VR it still set the sound output to my Oculus Rift S and starts Steam VR and the Oculus software. Found no way to start it without VR if you have a Oculus Rift S connected to your pc. Disappointed. Don't buy it.

Is your life free of frustration? Have you had enough of the words calm and relaxing? Do you hate not having anything to scream at? Boy do I have the game for you. This is way more of a puzzle game than an offroad game. You use the physics of a mostly ballistic vehicle to solve short puzzles, which often amounts to 5-15 second runs once you figure out what to do. In many of the levels, it boils down to how well you lined up the vehicle and how much speed you carried. There are a few stages where rock crawling skill is utilized, but the caveat here is that when it comes to simulating rock crawling the game is way too arcade feeling. It's like they were plugging in values for traction, mass, torque, and damping but used comical amounts of each. Basically, the driving version of human fall flat. Driving feels more like you're vectoring thrust in an origami truck with bouncy balls for tires in a low gravity environment. You have open differentials, which means every time you need traction you don't have it...yet a car length worth of 45deg boulder and all four tires contacting is enough traction to launch your vehicle into near earth orbit if you use full throttle. I made it to level 16 called DAM I came across a bug everytime I get to the logs the game would stutter. Anyway paradise the game is not the jeeps bounce around all the time there are no gears to change its either fast or not and it is an arcade game. How the game is priced at £14.99P GBP is beyond me it should be no more than £5.00. I paid £3.00 in a sale.
