Rock 'N Racing Off Road DX

20 stages spanning over 5 different cups with 5 cars all up to unlock, there are no racing upgrades like ivans super off road, bots are good enough to race against, tracks are ok, physics take getting use to, Multiplayer is dead (no surprise) and a time trial is included. Fun but only an hour of gameplay.

Pros: -Great soundtrack (though maybe a bit repetitive) -Good graphics for a retro style game Cons: -Lack of difficulty -Lack of variety -Controls aren't great. Vary depending on vehicle and tracks. The game seems to pay homage to classics like Ivan 'Ironman' Stewart's Super Off Road (Great classic arcade/NES game) but it's nowhere near as good aside from looking more modern which is sad considering the advancement in technology. The biggest problem is that it's a generic racing game with no vehicle tuning, boosts, hazards, etc. The levels are extremely lacking. There are boosts and obstacles (and by obstacles I mean literally just cacti) in the time trial mode but that mode is even more boring considering there's no other racers. The multiplayer mode I haven't even been able to try given the fact that I highly doubt anyone else really plays this. That said I think it's a little fun. For what it is. But overall, this gets a thumbs down due to the price tag. Normally, this is a 10 dollar game but I got it on sale for 4 and even then I think that's too much.
