About Once on a windswept night
Once upon a time, a long, long time ago, there was a traveller...
Our protagonist, a mysterious traveller, wanders the far-off land of Desservir searching for patrons to buy their wares.
Upon hearing about a large annual market in the village of Castella, the traveller decides to set up a stall and try their luck.
Life, however, is not so easy.
After being double-crossed by a goblin and left in the middle of the cold, wet moors to die, the traveller almost gives up hope.
That is, until they stumble upon a mysterious church in the middle of nowhere, and meet the two nuns who attend to it.
What are these two nuns doing on their own, and why is there such a melancholy atmosphere in the air?
The traveller has only one windswept night to uncover these mysteries and learn the truth.

Interesting concept, and I liked the story within the story! Very sweet ending 💖 It took me a little longer to finish just to get the RNG achievements. Other than that, the choices to get the rest are pretty straightforward.

Spoiler Warning let me preface by saying that i dont think the entire game is bad, my problems with it lies more in the structure of the game and formatting of the story rather than the content itself. Conceptually the story is simple at first, you follow the traveler who stays at the church and learn more about the two girls who live there. At first glance its a run of the mill vn with not much to offer, but if you continue to play the game over youll slowly pry into the deeper layers of the story making you realize it was all a ploy to uncover a deeper, gayer story. the plot twists of the story are really cool to uncover and rereading the story after doing so youll realize there was a lot that flew over your head. though its a really cool concept having now finished the game completely i have to say it was pretty convoluted for how short of a story it was. you have to reread the exact same story over and over and over again just to uncover one tiny puzzle piece of a detail to progress the story then do it all over again. it was already boring enough having to hold ctrl through the same exact story, but then the game will abruptly close after certain details forcing you to go t…
I thought this was an excellent and fascinating story! I loved the meta and progression. I like the music as well. My biggest gripe would be that breaking at one point deleted the saves and trapped me in a loop where I could only continue/break/reload game, and to fix it I had to go into the game files and delete all the saves. But!! I still got about 3 and half hours out of this free game! Awesome!
