TWO SHIPS BATTLE AN ENDLESS WAR IN SPACE AND TIME
Redshift Blueshift is a lightning-paced local multiplayer paddle game in which two pilots fight to keep the hyper-ball in play while contending with obstacles and threats unleashed by their opponent!
Played best with a friend and two gamepads, you can also play single player or with a keyboard!
How to Play
Gamepad: Right-stick: Move / A: Fire / X: Speed Change
Keyboard: Arrow Keys: Move / X or V: Fire / Z or C: Speed Change
Paddle Mode: Dodge drone fire and missiles and hit the ball!
Fighter Mode: Shoot at anything sharing your ships colors!
Redshift Blueshift was originally created in 48 hours for Ludum Dare 30, where it placed #6 overall and #2 in audio. Since then it has been accepted into the Magfest Indie Videogame Showcase as well as the first Indie Megabooth at EGX!

Combination of a shooter and pong. Shoot powerups that match your color to get a shield or to spawn missiles to attack and slow your opponent. When the ball hits the top of the screen it changes color, when it is your color your ship changes to a paddle and is unable to shoot until you hit the ball back. Strategy in hitting the ball back at the right time to prevent opponent from shooting powerups or from shooting down enemies. Very fun game if you have someone to play with, and fun for a little while against the AI.
I recommend the game if you want more variety for couch multiplayer gaming, but this doesn't offer a whole lot for single player gaming. So do not buy if its just for you, do buy for the couch gaming aspect. I wouldn't buy it at the $9 price tag either, it really doesn't offer a whole lot. Cheers!

It's nice, cute, and fun.
This is hard to give a thumbs up to because it would be one of the greatest games on Steam if it didn'tt have some of the worst hitboxes in history and AI that doesn't have abilities relative to difficulty but is literally the same ship with all the impossible abilities, just dumbed down AI. It hurts, it really does, because it's basically a modern indie take on Twinkle Star Sprites in the fact that none of my friends will challenge me despite the game being awesome.
