Operation TP

Operation TP is a free to play 2D top down retro pixel maze negotiation game where you can only see a small area around you. You must negotiate the maze in the dark, grab some TP, and run for the exit, while avoiding Zombies. This is largely a joke game lambasting the panic buying that occurred in the early stages of the C19 pandemic. The technical implementation is fairly bare bones, with blocky 2D retro pixel "art" graphics. Controls and resolution are locked. Overall the quality and depth of the game are very low. This is unsurprising as it's been made with the godawful Godot game construction kit. Using a low quality construction kit results in low quality games. The game is completely free. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. This is certainly a gesture that shows dedication to the gaming industry. It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. There's no "maybe" option in Steam, unfortunately.

С первых минут она затягивает своим геймплеем, требующим не только меткой стрельбы, но и продуманной командной работы. Каждая миссия — это головоломка, где нужно просчитывать каждый шаг, использовать особенности местности и грамотно распределять ресурсы. Графика, хоть и не самая передовая, отлично справляется с созданием атмосферы напряженных боевых действий. Звуковое сопровождение добавляет реализма: от эха выстрелов до напряженной музыки, подстегивающей к действию. Управление отзывчивое, а AI противников заставляет попотеть, предлагая достойный вызов даже опытным игрокам. Operation: Tactical Patrol — это не просто стрельба, это про умение мыслить, адаптироваться и доверять своим товарищам. Она дарит незабываемые моменты, когда слаженные действия приводят к успеху, и заставляет проанализировать ошибки, когда что-то идет не так. Настоятельно рекомендую всем, кто ценит глубину и стратегию в играх.

I felt the introduction to the ghost zombie was too early. That level was much bigger than the previous, and had a multitude of regular zombies already.
