Sometimes negative reviews help to streamline problematic issues, so I'll try to do just that. Game itself seems to be better-than-mediocre horror, is fine with story, graphics, sounds and gameplay... For ones who could play it, at least. For some reason, after introduction scene and first phone chat, game softlocks itself. After command "tap to move" I tried to press every key on my mouse and keyboard, experimented with settings, languages, restarted game for few times. Result was nothing. Menu could be open with ESC, but everything else in game just ignores any input I could think of. I checked Steam discussions and found out there are at least few more people with same exact problem. Their messages were ignored by devs and publishers alike, it's already month since last update it seems, but nothing was fixed or even addressed. Saddened, I tried to watch LP of game available on YT. It seems that streamers (and players) get two or three hours spent not on replaying some segments because of bad endings, but solve poorly staged puzzle or two in middle of game. I'm not sure if LPers are stupid or some specific culture knowledge is needed, but this issue seems solvable with some c…21 found this helpful
The AI Temu version of Paranormasight. The premise of the game starts interesting enough: missing girlfriend, do a spooky supernatural investigation until you find her. But while the story might have some interesting ideas, playing through the game itself drags you through puzzles that range from braindead "click here, then click where you just were" to completely incomprehensible, as with the infamous 6 column of bars in the classrooms. All the while, the art style that starts off with you asking "Is this AI? or is their artist's style just unfortunately close to AI?" becomes more and more laughably bad. Unless you want to spent a few hours laughing at some goofy AI art and wonky machine translation (Mau has like 4 names between game, achievement text, and cutscenes), just look elsewhere for your supernatural investigator fix.7 found this helpful
EDITED AFTER FINALLY FINISHING THE GAME The story is promising, being based on a famous Japanese creepy-pasta and inspired by more popular media like the games Paranormisight and The Coma and the manga Tomie. The character designs are nice and the music good. This said... 1. The English translation is done with Google Translate. It makes no sense and therefore it becomes difficult to understand what's going on. Even character's names are changed multiple times within the span of a few hours! 2. Bugs!!! The game is full of bugs, from screen being stuck between texts for so long you think the game crashes, to commands that don't work, passing through glitchy character sprites. In my unedited review I wrote how I had to drop the game during the ghost chase of Chapter 3, as the command 'hide' didn't work for me and so the game became unbeatable. Luckily I managed to sort it out, but such a big bug should not be solved by the player, it's the developers responsibility... 3. The story overall is nice and were it developed better this game could have been a bomb. Instead, it became a mess of themes, plot points that reached no end and contradictions. By how the game ends one would b…3 found this helpful

I don't recommend buying this game because it is unplayable. After the first cutscene where the game tells us to click on the screen to move, nothing happens. The character is still standing with the phone in her hand and doesn't want to move even an inch. From what I know, this problem has been in the game for over a year and the game's creators have no desire or intention to fix this bug in the game. It's just a waste of time and money.
Translation in English is horrible but good thing I can play in Japanese. It's a good game with nice story and challenging puzzles.
