It tells the story of Henriksen, a typical office worker who realizes he has been treated badly by his colleagues. This realization turns out to be "the straw that broke the camel's back", and Henriksen sets out on a revenge spree. Take on the role of the vengeful Henriksen as you traverse the premises of his (unorthodox) workplace and exact revenge on his wrong-doers.Features

Did you ever watch one of those 80s comedy movies again, and immediately think they would never be able to get away with that type of humor in this day and age? Well, that's the feeling I had with "The Monitors". Norwegian developer Old Man Games have released the English version of their five hour point 'n click adventure game "Overvåkerne". They were so kind as to offer me a free Steam key, but it felt like a poisoned gift because I ended up playing through a game I doubt very much I would have ever played otherwise... You play as Henriksen, an office employee sending out quite the Walter White vibe, who has endured years of bullying and being taken advantage of by his co-workers, while his wife Else keeps calling him from home to accuse him of postponing one household task or other. One day, in true "Falling Down" style (except for the baseball bat and Uzi), Henriksen cracks and plots revenge. When an anonymous person in the restrooms also gives him a set of ear buds with which he can eavesdrop on the three surveillance guards in the security room commenting on everything that goes on in the building, he starts his mission with a lust for blood and a clear disregard for his pe…

Genial humor. Noe enkel progresjon til tider, men kom ikke unna å bruke hint-funksjonen noen ganger. Vel verdt pengene!
Spillet har noen positive sider, som tidvis fornøyelig humor og en visuell stil som treffer godt på det det forsøker å være (retro adventure-spill cirka 1980-tallet), men de negative sidene veier dessverre tyngst hos meg; * Grensesnittet er unødvendig tregt * Den delen av overvåkernes dialog som ikke er nødvendig for framdriften burde heller spilt i bakgrunnen enn at spillet skal stoppe opp for at man skal høre gjennom den * Spillet er veldig linært - Det er til enhver tid i praksis 1 riktig ting man kan gjøre og rekkefølgen på alle oppgaver er veldig fastlåst, som gir følelsen av å spille gjennom en slags grafisk flervalgsoppgave.
Old-school click-adventure game with pixel-graphics and goofy humor. Great voices.
Really quirky, fun little game! Some pretty neat puzzles when you get a bit into it
