About Oylinder
A 3D platformer like you've never seen before, you must climb a mountain, by controlling a ball with six legs, a key for each leg, jump, roll and fall until you have mastered it.
And if you have played 'Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy' before, then you know what you are getting yourself into.

"Oylinder" is a failed attempt to make a gimmick based 3D platformer. No, the gimmick is not crap "voxel" looking art (when will developers understand Minecraft succeeded [i]despite[/i] the terrible graphics, not because of them)? Yes, the gimmick is that you push one of 6 buttons to trigger the piston on one of the faces of a cube that makes you bounce around. A terrible idea, implemented badly. I wonder why it was such a huge failure? In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging a somewhat delusional $8 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product.
