What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise the game's city-building concepts and some find it enjoyable once they understand the mechanics, but widespread complaints center on poor tutorials, confusing UI, overly complex systems without proper explanations, and lack of developer communication and updates since October 2025. The game's state at launch felt incomplete to many, leading to frustration with bugs, design limitations like mandatory roads before building, and abandonment concerns that make players hesitant about the developer's future projects.
DON'T BUY The game is too overwhelming for me without a proper tutorial. It is very unlikely that a tutorial will be made. The last and only update after launch was october 2025. There is not even communication anymore. I want my money back. DON'T BUY3 found this helpful
I didn't understand how to play this game and the dev just went absent.2 found this helpful
The save system is awful.
Honestly great fun, whilst there's only a few truly meaningful choices it's not much of a slight. I do recommend this at full price and even more so if you get any sort of discount.
An otherwise great city builder except YOU CANNOT REBIND KEYS. Instead, it gives you a handful of preset options, such as using WASD, arrow keys, or numpad for camera movement, but will not let you simply manually rebind keys to, for example, ESDF. Absolutely ridiculous design choice that hugely negatively impacts me as a disabled player.
I am really enjoying the game. Small bugs here and there but nothing serious from what I have run into. Also a nice little active discord community for any questions, suggestions or chats. Glad I picked it up.
