About Perpetuo
Imagine being trapped in an apartment where reality keeps shifting, where every loop takes you deeper into a mystery you don’t quite understand. At first, you think you’re searching for your missing sister… but the more you explore, the more you realize... nothing is what it seems.Perpetuo is a first-person psychological horror game where you relive the same apartment over and over, but each time, the walls remember more than you do. The furniture moves, objects disappear, and something lurks in the dark—something that knows you’re here.
What to Expect:
- A Shifting Nightmare: The apartment changes each loop, revealing new routes, rules, and threats.
- Environmental Storytelling: Piece the story together from spaces, fragments, and subtle clues... no hand-holding.
- Challenging Puzzles: Rituals and logic puzzles to unlock new areas and endings.
- Unrelenting Tension: A shadowy entity watches, adapts, and grows less predictable the deeper you go.
- A Focused Horror Experience: Short, tense, replayable... built for atmospheric exploration, puzzle solving, and the occasional sharp burst of action.

Perpetuo is an indie psychological horror game where you explore a looping apartment hallway and various rooms while solving puzzles. The game takes inspiration from Silent Hill's P.T. For Perpetuo, the goal is to learn the story, escape the loop, and find one of 7 endings. I found 3 endings in my first 2 hours of playing and then spent another 6 hours achieving absolutely nothing wandering in circles. The last 4 endings are either glitched or buried in super deep / obtuse places. I noticed 99% of gamers miss out, they reach the first ending and move onto the next game. I feel they barely scratched the surface of this game. Surprisingly and unexpectedly, the game is deep. (If you have the patience to go digging) + The game is addicting and well designed. It starts off slow, but the more you play, the more it sucks you into its world. It is fun learning the game's interesting story lore, finding secrets, and discovering mysteries. + The sound effects / ambient noises, are super creepy and well placed. + The atmosphere of the game is generally well made, very heavy and oppressive at times. + The puzzles feel original and are well designed. - The lighting in the game is not balan…17 found this helpful
Perpetuo is a solid horror game with a creepy atmosphere and some genuinely unsettling moments. It’s not perfect, but it definitely delivers on tension and mystery, especially if you enjoy story-driven scares. If you want to see gameplay, I played it here: [https://youtu.be/Za_IdhF5aZw](https://youtu.be/Za_IdhF5aZw)2 found this helpful
after spending two hours of gameplay, I got stuck at the sink puzzle, and it ended up wasting a lot of time. The issue is actually a bug at that sink puzzle, which prevents me from progressing further in the game. Even though I figured out the correct solution, I still can’t move forward because of this bug.1 found this helpful
Interesting horror game, 6 endings apparently. I got one, a few bugs in the game but still a good horror game, especially near the end of the game. https://youtu.be/JoSDG5VcooE1 found this helpful
Reminds me a lot of PT. Like the use of looping gameplay with minor changes you have to find. got it on sale at $2.49 but that $5.00 price could even be considered a steal if you enjoyed PT.1 found this helpful
beat the game with 2/11 achievements. A fantastic realistic horror game taking place in a bloody haunted house full of evil flesh monsters and onryo ghosts. Make your way through trippy worlds and solve fun mysteries as you experience a magical outdoor colorful city. Really loved the game, super cool1 found this helpful
