Developed and published by Beshbarmak games, Paranormal Torment is a first-person psychological horror title that embraces a minimalist design while delivering an unsettling and emotionally charged experience. Rather than relying on elaborate combat systems or expansive environments, the game confines players to a seemingly ordinary corridor that becomes increasingly disturbing with every repeated journey. This looping structure forms the backbone of the experience, gradually revealing a tragic story through subtle environmental changes and carefully placed narrative clues. Inspired by classic psychological horror, the game focuses on building suspense through atmosphere and mystery instead of overwhelming players with constant action. The greatest strength of Paranormal Torment lies in its ability to transform a familiar setting into a place filled with dread. Each pass through the corridor introduces new visual details, altered objects, and unexpected events that encourage players to examine every corner with care. The gradual evolution of the environment keeps the repetitive setting from becoming stale, as every completed loop offers another piece of the larger puzzle. The horr…

It’s been a while since I played a horror game that made me almost piss myself a couple of times… and occasionally made me afraid to even look at the screen. Well, Paranormal Torment is exactly that kind of game. Which makes sense, considering the developers say they were inspired by my personal nightmare — Visage. I won’t go into the story. Unfortunately, it’s a bit cliché. But the atmosphere, the sound design, the jump scares — this is how an indie horror game should feel. The puzzles are also pretty good, and judging by the Steam comments, they’ve managed to genuinely stump quite a few players. Long story short: if you want to spend an entertainingly terrifying hour — maybe a bit more — for five euros, I can definitely recommend Paranormal Torment. Video: https://youtu.be/EN0d68qBaFg

The game is full of difficult puzzles, please. We are looking for fun, not complexity.
