My favorite MMORPG! 9/10. Originally, I got into this game back in 2012 through my older brother. I played all the different classes, but I eventually found my way as a Buccaneer. This game feels so unique in the way they incorporate different cultures and famous figures from history into the game as characters or bosses. And I was able to learn more about general history as a kid through this game. Also, the different classes completely change the entire game for you. There's different combat, dialogues, companion characters that get assigned to you, side quests, and much more. I have to praise the different worlds, characters, dialogue, voice acting, stories, overarching story, combat, and music. The incredible voice acting for hundreds of characters makes this game feel so special. And the music is always fitting. Additionally, the game has a surprisingly good overarching story because without really spoiling, it's about [spoiler]AI trying to take over, while you race against them.[/spoiler] Also, the community is great! Pirate101 is an awesome and one of a kind game. It has a unique premise in a plot showcasing a clockwork army, sky pirates, and a race to El Dorado. The plot is an amazing mixture between mature themes (e.g., war, racial discrimination) and a dedication to remaining appropriate for families. The setting, laden with floating isles and powderpunk cities, is just as compelling as the story. PIrate101 has a charm that's impossible to find anywhere else, and I hope you play it.
