About Pixel Game Maker Series MEDIUM-NAUT
An exploratory sci-fi horror action game by Naramura Takumi of LA-MULANA!
【STORY】
The space pioneer ship Ostracida has crashed on an uncharted planet, but the survey team that went to rescue the survivors was unable to enter the ship and return.
They were unable to enter the ship due to psychic phenomena.
So they ask a psychic medium, "Yumi Kisara spiritist" to investigate the crashed ship.
The objective is to recover the ID chips of the passengers and investigate the ship, but it seems that there is "something" lurking that cannot be easily solved.
Fingers crossed for consideration!
【SYSTEM】
By acquiring various items on the ship, you can change your attack methods and expand your range of action.
However, in order to acquire items, you must give up your HP (physical strength) as compensation.
If you proceed without thinking, your HP will quickly dwindle and you will be killed by the slightest enemy attack.
Play the game repeatedly and make choices that suit your style.
【INVESTIGATION】
The souls of the crew are still on board.
By talking to them, you can obtain items and collect ID chips, and by obtaining ID chips, you can enter their private rooms.
There are also reports from Dr. Simon and personal records of the crew, so you can investigate what happened on the ship.
"Pixel Game Maker Series" is a series where you can enjoy games created using the action game production software " Pixel Game Maker MV".

A fun romp through a haunted spaceship. The game's mechanics make you choose carefully what upgrades you take, and there's plenty to explore and find. Be wary of jumpscares, and be prepared for multiple playthroughs of this short but quite good game to try out all the goodies.13 found this helpful
Cannot recommend this (yet?). Control feels a bit janky, as in pretty long animation locks for some actions and weird feeling jump arcs and speed. The hint about your decisions having consequences seems to mean that upgrades you "buy" can overwrite upgrades you already have, meaning that you essentially wasted the cost of the previous upgrade you bought. But mostly I have issue with the difficulty: Many enemies are horrible health sponges. One pretty big regular enemy takes 24 (!) shots with my upgraded weapon, The survival horror aspect is not strong either, so far all I found was a few jumpscares. Maybe if you get used to the system and master the difficulty you can appreciate the game more than I did so far. Maybe I'll change my opinion in the future. But currently my first impression is that this game is not worth more than 5€.4 found this helpful
Really fun. A lot of cool ideas and big replayability.4 found this helpful
The concept of the game is fun, the level design is great filled with tons of alternative paths and short cuts, the art direction is cute and the music is fitting. Unfortunately the enemies are pretty uninspired and the engine is very jank/borderline awful. Tons of missables but the game is short and it seems to be expected that you play the game multiple times to see the whole thing. I don't really mind that aspect myself but some people might. $15 might be a little high for what's here so probably best to pick it up on a sale. I got it for 10% off and felt pretty satisfied all things considered.2 found this helpful
