Part of the fun in this game is finding out what the rules of the puzzle are. But there are always hints to help you progress! In essence it's just a calm casual puzzle game where you play with art without shame or punishment.
It answers the question: What if you DID touch the artwork?
There are 160 paintings to touch (3~4 hours of gameplay) spread over 3 unique games,
The 1st game tells the origin story of pure abstract art. It’s a challenging puzzle where you’ll add colors and lines to a canvas to recreate abstract paintings.
In the 2nd game you’ll move to a big city, only to be overwhelmed with mixed emotions. You'll be exploring the maze of New York City while collecting words from a poem.
In the 3rd game you’ll help Boogie & Woogie, 2 squares who just want to be together, by figuring out how obstacles influence Woogie’s path, in a complex growing society.

This game is simple, fun, and well worth the time and energy if you will give it a try. With simple puzzles that get more challenging as you go, with hints available for those of us who don't want to do quite as much work, this short game is a must for puzzle players and game enjoyers alike. Sometimes you have to go out of your way to try out the alternative games, so you can truly appreciate the actual good ones in comparsion. This "game" is composed from three minigames together: 1. a logic puzzle game utilizing XOR operations telling a story of a semi famous artist, 2. a maze crawler telling typical story of whining woman, 3. and weird mini maze with buttons with another weak story. The only 1. has actual potential to be truly hardcore logical puzzle game, but its too short and devs being cowards even put in built-in help. Also this is first game ever where i had to mute the music: you can tell the devs were visual artists, not the audio type. The only positive thing i can say about this game is that it is short so you wont suffer too long.1 found this helpful
Although the game is marketed as a chill experience, the puzzles actually are pretty frustrating
in my experience the Galleries got gradually easier and more atmospheric. the rain effect >>>> so cozy. defintely recommend. it did feel like i was falling into my screen though when they went crazy in New York, might make other people nauseous loooved the level design especially in the last 2 galleries. The Style Gallery had me stumped at times so that i had to use the ingame hints. i liked that these didn´t give you the complete answer directly so you still had to think too (having to choose the right actions in the now revealed order and places)
This game is challenging yet fun. I love the game mechanics interacting with colorful, abstract visuals - simple and easy to grasp. But in terms of enjoyability, I definitely prefer the sequel more. Solving the puzzles / mazes here scratches my brain and competitiveness. Enjoyed how the game forces me to think using different perspectives whilst pressuring to analyze first before making any moves. Even hints require you to use your brain as well HAHAHA If you like simple puzzle games, this is good. But if you prefer a more interactive one, the sequel is a definite fave.
