One of the better slider puzzles, Poly Puzzle: Dogs manages not to overstay its welcome while being a decent challenge if you're after another completed game for your collection. The polygonal style is largely why some puzzles are quite difficult in this, especially the dogs with majority brown or black coats. With the capped number of moves per puzzle you'll find yourself pausing to think often. You thankfully can reset each puzzle so the pieces cycle position and sometimes reveal their needed placement. There are really only two negatives with this game. One, the soundtrack is irritating from the get-go and you'll probably turn it off quickly - but it re-enables itself each startup lol. Two, a minor complaint but difficulty whipsaws all through the puzzles until the last dozen, where you'll spend several minutes on each. Achievement hunters, note this is yet another "Steam is learning about" title and as such is not counted towards your global completion at this time. You're looking at between 2 and 3 hours to 100% PP:D, every finished puzzle unlocks two achievements. Easy recommend especially when on sale, due to limited replayability though I would not suggest a full price …

Lucky me gets to write the first English review for yet another mobile app copy+paste/asset flip/cash grav from Cute Hannah, who do nothing but copy + paste the same basic mobile app game templates onto Steam (they've done this with their series of POG copy+pastes, a series of "Memory" asset flips, now they're doing it with a basic tile/jigsaw). This is just a ultra simple game where you assemble a picture, this version of the asset flip has a few stock images of dogs that the developer ripped off from somewhere. It's a blatant cash grab, with zero depth or value as a game, a joke $2 cash grab price, and of course it was dumped into DailyIndieGame bundles at launch. Cute Hannah have performed this specific asset flip 5 times, with different tiles to match, but otherwise the same game. Cats, Dogs, Birds, and Furries (which tells you all you should need to know about this "developer"). Since you can play this kind of game for free in a web browser if you really wanted to, I can't recommend anyone should pay money for this cash grab pollution.

If your looking for a review on this game you've come to the wrong place, but if your're looking for an outstanding pie recipe you've come to the right place. Ingredients: 1. 6 tablespoons unsalted butter 2. 1/2 cup white sugar 3. 1/2 cup brown sugar 4. 1/4 cup water 5. 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 6. 1 pinch salt 7. 5 apples - peeled, cored and sliced 8. 1 pastry for double-crust pie Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). 2. Combine butter, white sugar, brown sugar, water, cinnamon, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, remove from heat and set aside. 3. Roll out half the pastry to fit a 9-inch pie plate. Place bottom crust in pie plate; pour in apple slices. 4. Roll out top crust into a 10-inch circle. Cut into 8 (1-inch) wide strips with a sharp paring knife or pastry wheel. Weave the pastry strips, one at a time, into a lattice pattern. Fold the ends of the lattice strips under the edge of the bottom crust and crimp to seal. 5. Pour butter-sugar mixture over top of pie, coating the lattice, and allowing any remaining sauce to drizzle through the crust. 6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C…

I don't recall precisely how this game appeared in my Steam library, but given how many of these nearly identical Poly Puzzles exist, and my personal disinterest in dogs, my expectations were looooooooooow. While it is exactly what it appears to be and nothing more, I can't deny that I enjoyed my time with this totally decent set of puzzles. The images aren't great works of art, but they're all aesthetically pleasing and easy enough to parse while still offering some challenge. The limited number of moves and accompanying hint system are surprisingly clever and fair, never spoiling the laid-back mood while offering the right level of challenge to keep one engaged. Turning on a playlist or podcast would have been a smart choice, but I let the stock, frequently looped music do its thing during the 2.7 hours I spent piecing together dog faces, always expecting it to start irritating me, but nah. It's fine. Every part of this package is completely fine. Inessential and unambitious, sure, but I feared I was getting slop. Let the record show, I was wrong.
