Welcome to Polyville Canyon! A laid-back, peaceful city builder where nothing bad ever happens!
Polyville Canyon is a city builder that forgoes many 'standard' city builder mechanics and lets you focus on building an aesthetically pleasing town without having to worry about electricity, sewage, traffic, taxes, city ordinances, or other 'micro-management' tasks. Just get out there and build however you want and the Neighbors will be happy!

You've been invited to a meeting at a charming little train station just outside of Polyville City by a local construction company. They say they're being asked to build an entire city out in the Canyons, and they desperately need some help. They thought that since you're the only one they know that has a mouse and keyboard, it would be much easier for you to do the work. If you agree, you will earn a share of every Train Ticket sold to visitors and residents, either coming or going!
Of course you agree because that is A LOT of money, and you immediately pack up your stuff and head to the station! The construction Foreman, Sam, is waiting for you there to get started right away!

Build a budding city for the Neighbors!

I got pretty mixed feelings about this game. It is a city builder where you basically can not fail as you will always get more money no matter what and there is no way of losing money. You just receive quests to place down some specific buildings / achieve specific goals which you will all do eventually so it can get pretty boring as there is no challenge. You can unlock multiple locations to build your city in, there is a pretty good amount of different buildings and decorations each with 3 different color schemes. So if it was just for that it would be a decent city builder game if you want just something extremely chill, but the game gets let down by something else: controls. The controls are just ... annoying. It is simply just to slow and cumbersome to place down each individual building and decoration with no option to bulk pace except for roads and even the system for those could still be better. So all in all it is not terrible, but could be definitely improved on. The game runs on Linux with Proton (9.0-3) without any issues.4 found this helpful
[b]Polyville Canyon[/b] is a really great city-builder, especially if you are new or curious of the genre. The game offers a stress-free and forgiving experience that has some great music, good UI and doesn't really overstay itself. I highly recommend this game, just look at the price and try it out for yourself. :)2 found this helpful
If you have ever played Facebook's Cityville game, think of this like Cityville but more cosy-ier, as there is no challenge and no money management (you'll still get money but no tax or payout, and no losing money). This is fun and cosy city building game, if you are looking to trying out city building games, and need a cheap one, then this one is for you to start off the city building gaming journey before you venture to the games that have challenges and penalties. Great practice to learn how to make a city and laying out roadwork for the residential, commercial and service areas, and the decorations are cute! As you level up you will be able to access to 3 other maps of different biomes if you want to spread out or expand and continue to play there if you want to have a theme at each maps. I had fun with this one and at its price, absolutely no complaint!2 found this helpful

I love city building games, this one is the most easiest and relaxing city builder I own, you may get bored easily because it takes a fair bit of time to generate the money, One of those games you can watch youtube to honestly, they do have quests to do, but they're super easy. If you want a tycoon city builder that is super stress free try this game out.1 found this helpful
