i cannot explain how hard did i push myself to finish this game. even tho they touch important and sensible topics, they did it so poorly. dialogues didn't make sense at some point, was so bad written, characters are not developed properly so it's so hard to have empathy or related with them. seeing the labels and plot i thought i would like this game, such a shame.

"Porcelana" isn't a game. It's an e-book dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual novel/e-book/fan-fiction, this has no notable gameplay. It's just clicking through badly written dialogue that would never be accepted in print by an actual professional publisher. How did something this badly written end up on Steam? When someone can't get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam Direct under the guise of a game. This e-book pushes the boundaries of what is possible for a garbage high school anime club dropout fan-fiction. Most of these e-books are about the author and his imaginary girlfriend... pure cringe, yes. But this one really pushes the envelope... it's about the author and his FOUR imaginary girlfriends. Shoot the moon, fan-fiction cringe writers. Comically, the authors imaginary girlfriends are suicidal. I think that says alarming things about your self esteeem if your imaginary girlfriends are suicidal, but then again, if your boyfriend writes creepy, cringey fan-fictions about you, you'd be suicidal too I guess. Why i wanted to play this?

Porcelana is one of those visual novels that starts off looking much softer and more innocent than the story actually is. I follow the disappearance of Isabella, a classmate who always seemed perfect from the outside, and gradually discover that there was much more happening beneath that image. I liked how the game uses that simple mystery to explore loneliness, hidden pain and the difference between how someone appears and how they actually feel. The main gameplay is built around reading, investigating notes and making choices that influence the direction of the story. I enjoyed the feeling that each new piece of information gives me another reason to reconsider what I thought I knew about Isabella. The choices are important because they can change events and lead to different outcomes, which encourages me to pay attention rather than simply clicking through the dialogue. The characters are easily the strongest part for me. Isabella is obviously the focus, but meeting the people connected to her gradually gives me a much broader picture of her life. Debo decir, que tarde mucho en darle una oportunidad, y en escribirle la reseña De verdad, la historia es demasiado conmovedora y es la primera, que me ha hecho llorar tanto genuinamente, no quiero decir que no he llorado con historias, pero esta tuvo algo que de verdad no me pude aguantar. La verdad, el mensaje es fuerte y concuerda bastante con el titulo del juego, "La vida es como una figura de Porcelana, muy fragil" Personas que fingen ser amigos y a la vez te hacen daño, seres queridos/cercanos que te hacen daño y una situación en general que no hace más que hundirte y destrozarte mentalmente.. No quiero caer en spoilers, pero una historia realmente es uan buena historia sobre la depresión y el suicidio... de como una persona puede recurrir a eso... para calmar una vida de sufrimiento Espero se haya entendido lo que quise decir, pero de verdad fue muy triste la historia
