Dandelions in the Sky

I was enjoying it until the CG where the cat gets [spoiler] STRANGLED TO DEATH [/spoiler] was unlocked then I immediately deleted it.

Xia Kong de Pugongying or "Dandelions in the Sky" as it was localized is quite possibly one of the worst pieces of ludo-narrative fiction I have ever ingratiated myself with and I am absolutely appalled at myself for having spent 4 dollars on a product as egregiously terrible and worthless as this. I do not think I can stress enough how incomprehensibly idiotic the storytelling and the flow of this "visual novel" (if you can even call it that) is. There are ostentatiously bad twists, absolutely baffling endings that my Alzheimer's ridden Grandmother could've written better, and you can beat it in under 2 hours! The absolute gall to release something as utterly putrid and pointless as this factory-made Chinese slop riffing on already mediocre moege is preposterous. I pray on behalf of everybody who read this that the people who wrote this decide to pursue a career that is more suited towards them as opposed to selling something this nonsensical.

[/h1] It's fair to acknowledge that typical bully tropes in media are quite common; however, it's important to note that visual novels like "Dandelions In The Sky" offer a good experience due to the emphasis on choices. Choices hold significant weight in these games, influencing outcomes in meaningful ways. It dwells into two bullied students, the MC Shi Mo and his friend Ran Xiaoyu, who are getting picked on by their classmates for reasons I won't reveal due to potential spoilers. It's such a HEARTWARMING change of pace from the typical cheesy romance bully genre, which really makes this short visual novel feel GOOD to play. 7/10 GOOD. It definitely had me hooked on the story by the middle part, although the beginning was a bit slow. There were moments that I found confusing and felt that the characters needed more depth and development. Overall, "Dandelions in the Sky" is a short two-hour visual novel that delivers a HEARTFELT story, warming the reader/player's HEART.

✔️ Tested on Steam Deck, it works fine (12/09/2025). 'A' button to advance text and touchscreen/buttons for menu and choices. Pretty short and average story. It's not exactly bad but the endings feel a bit rushed and some of the events that drive the plot forwards are too forced. I won't say it's not worth playing it because it gives at least a few hours of pleasant reading for the price and the art is nice.

for me it was more as a romance game than an emotional game with a massage there is an outcome of one of the choices was illogical to me soo i got frustrated a bit the story it self was like some stupid anime i did not find anything wow or caught my eye despite the story and the illogical outcomes i find it not vary bad i did not feel bored while getting all the endings so maybe i give it 5-6/10 + why there is only recommend or not recommend ? why there is not a choice between if there was then i give this game that
