I love the boardgame, but the digital conversion is horrible... Worst UI i have seen so far!2 found this helpful
This is a recommendation with caveats. I love the physical copy of Power Grid, and this has some wonderful features, including a broad range of different maps to play. However the UI is tricky to use, and the game would be difficult to understand if you have not had physical game experience before. But if you have played the physical copy before, this game can be most enjoyable (especially for 6 player games against 5 AIs), as long as you (i) play with a mouse so you can scroll everything to the size you need, (ii) click everything at the start of the game to find a setup that you like.1 found this helpful
I love the board game, and so when i found it on steam I was so excited. I'd reccomend it for people who don't mind the imperfect execution here. From what I've seen on here, the devs have likely abandoned it? I like that it exists and I can play the game with npc's. Could it be miles and miles better? Yes, but beggars can't be choosers. I hope the devs come back to the table and actually develop this game to be better. I think where it's at now will lead plenty of people to request refunds. No new player will like this. If you're a powergrid lover, it gets the job done. Mostly...1 found this helpful
As experienced physical player, the interface was clunky and confusing. Much worse than playing on BSW despite not speaking German. Then Steam would not refund because they say I'm on a "cloud computer."1 found this helpful
Great game, terrible implementation. UI is pure garbage
its a must know game for the board gamers.
