Project Liminal 2

I don't know what the people who left a positive review have been smoking, but this is the biggest piece of crap I have ever tried to play. - No Liminal feeling what so ever - Bug riddled - Half-Life crap which doesn't fit the theme at all what so ever and horribly implemented on top of it - The sound kills the mood - "reality-bending platforming" yes, because you can't believe that this game can possibly make it into a store in this reality - Why is there even a "Continue" option on the start screen if you make people play from the beginning anyway if you quit the game?

Absolutely baffling to see how many obviously fake reviews this game has. I guess Steam doesn’t care. Anyway, the floor broke in the endless corridor and I just fell out of the map, and it autosaved while I was falling. Game completely broke 10 minutes in. Good thing Steam gives refunds easily. This is one of the weirdest things I’ve come across on steam. Almost paranoid this is spyware or something.

Wow, it is just ridiculuous how much Source Engine made the way people see this whole liminal space thing. And yet this game is basically a cheap parody of a liminal space game that doesn’t make you feel that vibe at all. I want to give it some credit for the visuals being pretty good. But as soon as I started hearing all those Half Life sound effects it completely killed my desire to keep playing because dev couldn't even manage to make their own. I walked around for another half an hour just to see if anything interesting would happen but no, nothing at all. It’s just dark corridor nonsense with some random shooter elements that don’t fit it. Overall, I can tell the developer was inspired by liminal spaces and wanted to make something of their own. But the result is even below mediocre - there’s just no real reason to stay in the game since it doesn’t give you anything except the urge to finish it as quickly as possible. I would call a very simple Garry's Mod pack of addons, nothing else.

I must admit I was very confused when I got to a certain point and was given gun. Not the worst but definitely more annoyingly puzzling than liminal.

First of all, this game shows that it has full controller support.. it is barely controller supported. Just enough to scrape by. And i need full controller support to play a game. Just how my setup is.. Furthermore; The camera seems like it is permanently zoomed in and cannot be zoomed out (how it looks and moves). I think it's fish-eyed, but not sure. The camera movement is also very slow and changing the sensitivity makes almost no difference even when on max speed. The flashlight only works on some of the levels and the light reflection just makes it blinding bright. Where the flashlight does not work, the area is so dark, you can't see where you are going at all. I had to work off of distant lights to kind of navigate around. But what fun is playing a game you can't see? There is also not a brightness adjustment option. It plays and looks like a PS1 game without the nostalgia and fun. Graphics isn't a huge thing to me of course. (DUSK, in example, looks like a PS1 game but it is an awesome game.) Anyways.. It's.. it's just not a well made game.. like, i can't even honestly say that it has potential.. it would need a massive overhaul to make a difference. I'm not sure what the …
