About Project Skylab 2

Project Skylab 2 is going to make Algebra three-dimensional, engaging, and non-isolating. In the game, you are stranded on the surface of Mars due to a catastrophic accident. You will learn how to solve basic to advanced Algebra problems in your pursuit to escape Mars, but danger lurks around every corner. There is an army of cybernetic killer robots hunting for you. Your goal is to shut down the AI computer known as CAL(Cybernetic Assisted Learning) who controls this army of killer robots. You will have to use your arsenal of weapons to defeat CAL. You will also have your trusty rover to guide you across the red planet. The Mars landscape is 4x4 miles, so have fun exploring. The goal of the game is to create a comfortable, relaxing, and fun learning environment for students.

IMPORTANT: This is an ALPHA build of Project Skylab 2. I am a college student and the sole developer of this game. Project Skylab 2 is geared for middle school students. The problems build in their level of difficulty with hints and examples for every math puzzle. The game still needs some work, but it’s a significant improvement over Project Skylab. I have read all of your feedback on Project Skylab, which was very helpful, and have implemented the suggested changes in Project Skylab 2. Any feedback is much appreciated!

Projecy Skylab 2 is an abandoned early access first person shooter/eductational game intended to teach algebra in an entertaining science fiction format. Unfortunately, deeper discussion of the minutae of the game is impossible. The game is published by the highly ironically named "Not Awful Studio". While the screenshots make the game look appealing, there's very serious deal breaking technical flaws. The game simply does not display properly in full screen. Resolution is locked and can't be changed, but overscan/DPI issues prevent the mouse from being used properly in full screen mode. In windowed mode, the mouse goes outside the window, preventing some of the menus from being used. Put simply, the game is unplayable on modern systems due to hamfisted design and lack of basic software testing. It's also poorly optimised, but given the game can't be played, this is a moot point. The developer took people's early access money for the game, then made it free, without bothering to finish the game (almost 3 years since and update!). In a surprise to nobody, no refunds were made, the developer took the money and ran. It's impossible to recommend this abandoned, broken "game…

Contrary to what the studio name might lead you to believe, this game is in fact awful, feeling less like a game and more like something that would be called MyProject1 within Unreal Engine 4.

Interesting concept, I really enjoyed solving the equations. Although this game is really buggy and shooting mechanics don't quite work

Space: the final frontier. Its vast expanse has, over time, played host to all manner of weird and wonderful ‘aliens’ and ‘monsters.’ Such forms of fantastic fiction have existed since the mid-1900s, and have produced some of the greatest films and video games It is, therefore, perfectly understandable – desirable, even – to find a game which is set in an overrun Martian habitat. Better, yet, one overrun by zombies. The AI trying to kill you, all the while, only makes it sound better. It was quite a surprise, then, when the best part of the game was the first five seconds, before one realizes just how impressively the creator managed to ruin such a cool concept. Indeed, such a premise does give the devs a high amount of pressure toward providing a high-quality, fun, action-packed game. Unfortunately, for the players, whilst it is true that - on occasion - pressure does make diamonds, this game seems to be more content to prove that pressure is also good at making garbage more compact. (Note: Somehow, it’s still a 5GB game.) The game, visually, looks great - but beauty is only skin deep and there are many deep-rooted, glaring issues that make the game difficult to play. If you…
